I hope he do stay now.
Things will never be quite right from now on, and there will always be a little lemon juice in day to day procedures.
Stick with him. ;)

Stick to their principles. do f**k off. 1p in the £1 to creditors when they went into Admin. no shame.
Bryn Cartwright Jenkins has had his bluff called. hes promised Laudrup money and gone back on his word yet
again

If laudrup wants to go he knows where the door is, we swans fans dont get stuck up someone's ar*e like cardiff fans have with tan

Well, no you wouldn't get stuck up his arse, would you?? He's not family, is he?? ;)   :ayatollah:

Great move. Get rid of the agent who helped sort deals for the likes of Michu and DeGuzman.

As the agent said. Premier League club with a championship attitude.

All to do with money ;) This agent is a gem. finds european players with laudrup ties them up to a deal then contacts swansea and says ''we got so and so interested in coming here'' so what if he gets a cut? what if he gets 10% of any future michu sale? still amazing business for Swansea. Bryn Cartwright just wants another few Michus on the cheap and cos they arent on Laudrups list hes looking for a way out

20odd million for michu? Ffs nuts, like said won't get anything off Laudrup put him on gardening leave? Doesn't last long does it? then what? Arguments blah blah amd potential signings put off ! As your chairman is so great won't be problem getting another legend in? But as there's been what 4 managers in six yrs not good outlook is it?

Re: The Latest On Laudrup

Michael Laudrup has insisted that he plans to stay at Swansea City following fresh speculation over the Dane’s future.

Swansea have recently severed ties with Laudrup’s agent Bayram Tutumlu following a war of words between him and the South Wales club.
But Laudrup, who guided the Swans to the League Cup title in his first season at the Liberty Stadium, says that his future will not be affected by the club’s feud with Tutumlu.
“Again I must say that my intention is to stay – I have repeated it so many times in the last three months,” Laudrup told the South Wales Evening Post.
“I have 100 per cent confidence in Bayram, but if the club don’t want to work with him or he doesn’t want to work with them, they have to live with that. It will not change my relationship with Bayram one centimetre.
“The only thing I am interested in is having the best players at Swansea within the budget that is possible.
“That’s what I have been fighting for every day, last year when I arrived and this year as well. That will always be the most important thing for me wherever I end up in the future.”

and in English?

4 managers in 6 years is fine when your club continually improves. Worked for us a lot better than sticking with Dave Jones did for you.

Especially when theyve just banned the agent who secured most of their best players.

Well it's not technically the liberty........ That's not yours, so the last or first man probably works for the council.

As most of us on here I will be more than happy if laudrup leaves, can Huw pull another one out of the fire, he is due a dud soon........

It is a council owned stadium, which means the people of swansea, so it more owned by the fans and people of swansea, than legoland which is owned by the banks.

A member of the Royal family would be a better match. They love the Union Jack and they also marry their cousins. About as Swansea as you can get.

Nothing wrong with punching above your weight. Just means that pound for pound we're at the top ;)

As was recently proven in the money/points league table published by one of the big newspapers i believe. Oh, and we had one fo the four trophies available to the football league. Ask Arsenal how difficult that is to achieve.

So yeah, will be difficult to top that next season of course but the same would go for most teams. IF we managed to get a decent striker and keep the current players then I think we can get a better points tally again and put up a reasonable showing in Europe. If Laudrup and certain players go then we're loaded and we rebuild. Happy days.

i haven't got a clue what will happen next season all we have done at the moment is improved on a 9th place squad with an apparently very good holding midfielder from real betis , so at the moment it's all good :thumbright:

Maybe the agent was the organ driver of transfers and contacts and you are stuck ith the monkey????

It could be brill if he stays and can't get any decent players because of his budget and losing your best players Michu, Cashly, de Guzman and Vorm, it's going to be a great summer :ayatollah: :ayatollah: :ayatollah:
