I got two accounts banned for saying that Boobs and Bums thread was pathetic and some of the pictures were horrific. Literally all I said and I got them both banned.

To be fair, this is true. He abused me, I abused Polo, he brought my disability into it, I brought his issues into it. I got no hard feelings for anyone on this forum including Polo.

I don't know why I've been dragged into this thread to be honest. As one of the most respected and mature members of this online community, I have no need for such riff raff Chuckles.

It's quite obvious the forum needs splitting up. The more sections a forum has the better as the get filled up. There are people on here who are knowledgeable in other areas who are of course reluctant to post in relation to their given topic because they don't want to clutter the main forum.

A rebrand section is definitely needed. Too many fans are either living in a state of delusion or have the intellectual capacity of a gnat.

The forum sections should be as below;

1) Cardiff Chat
2) The Rebrand
3) Off Topic

I have suggested this numerous times and I would quite happily populate Off Topic with the latest news etc. to get it up and running.

The current structure is a mess and that's not a slight at admins but it's just something that happens when a forum grows so big. Expansion is needed and it'll again boom.

James I think you're spot On.. Too much separation would result in less posting, but these "areas" are generic enough still & would keep the Cardiff chat clear of rebrand talk.

I got a warning and a topic deleted because I asked if Chuckles was related to Ronnie Briggs, he went crying to the mods. What a pathetic specimen he is. Get a job Chuckles and stop living off the rest of us tax payers. A sub forum for Roathie, Chuckles, Paulh_85 and the Jacks. Perfect.

Same here Barney, no hard feelings, we both know how far to push each other, and we can both be pushed a lot further than most folk as we dish it out but also take it back.

I think most people dont get our little "spats", its all just part of the messageboard soap opera, and most of the ill feeling is staged for the entertainment of others. Well it is on my part.

I dont know why that threads been dragged up as abusive, we had the blessing off a moderator (Baked) who could see it for what it was, he laid out the rules on the first page what was over stepping the mark, and it provided 7 pages and a Friday of entertainment for the board.

Its always the same posters any subject then one person that is known for this replys then others mock and name call then we have pages of petty comments that follow. If you dont like someone fair enough dont comment to them.

But I agree this forum has gone down hill for some time and the best posters have gone to be replaced by immature trolls and that is why I dont post much any more.

Isn't it possible to opt out of seeing certain threads ?
You click the options you want to read subjects about , say rebrand , match day , transfer rumours , official news , ect then when people post they click the option they want it posted under and if you don't personally choose to see those options you can't see but others can , but it is still on general ? Just like you can ignore certain posters ! Shouldn't be to hard to do !

Separate the topics more. 'General chat' isn't enough with the amount of random crap people write on here.

There's been a bit of chat recently about how old skool decent posters have been posting less and how certain mundane topics such as the rebrand are taking over the forums with the same bland topics e.g. "Do you support the rebrand?" etc.

So here is a suggestion to improve the forums and improve the standard of posting. We have monthly awards.

I used to run a Football Manager fan site called FM View when I was younger and slightly less geeky than I am now. We used to have monthly awards such as Topic of the Month, Poster of the Month and Comment of the Month.

It would be hard to start off with all three without Owain adding some things to the forums so even if we started off with Poster of the Month it might encourage people to make more of an effort to post decent topics and make decent posts in topics.

Later on, maybe a rating system could be adding where people can rate topics with the top rated topics being nominated at the end of each month and then we could also set up a sticky thread where people can copy and paste their nominations for Comment of the Month?

It's just some ideas but wondered what you lads thought?

I for one feel that the re-brand is one of the only decent topics on here at the moment, admittedly it's got out of hand but we would never have believed there was such a divide had the topic not been breached.
We've witnessed 1st hand on this forum how strong opinion is on either side and that could not have been done without this site as a vehicle for venting anger or praising the vision.
That said I do think the site can be split up and a few sub headings added for transfer news, Rumour speculation, Total Ballox, Genuine CCFC info, The Re-brand etc.

Jes. I kind of agree and disagree. I think it potentially a great topic to discuss because it is such a major part of the club and a hot topic with supporters. However, it does get manipulated and abused by people who just have no respect or value for other people's opinions which is totally against what this forum is about.

Another thing I would like to suggest is temporary bans for people who disrupt topics on a persistent basis. Say if a moderator has more complaints from more than two people about how they are posting then maybe they are given a 24-48 hour ban? If you are temporarily banned more than three times then you receive a month ban and then if you are banned again it's permanent?

No because Barry would just constantly report people,more than he already abuses the bloody report button.
