Yellow is 'traditional' as well now, is it?

With respect, make your mind up; the yellow came in the seventies and can only be called a 'classic' colour ;)

Before that we were simply brown and yellow (in the early days) and then blue and white (in our professional days) :ayatollah:

I started watching the club in the seventies mate thats why its what i grew up with so for 34 years these colours are the bases of the clubs colours to young to remember the brown and yellow

Since Cardiff city have been known as that, they have always worn blue & white. Yellow was added in the 70s and re-added more recently as it proved a popular colour to go alongside the more traditional blue & white.

Now, in fairness, you actually bring up a very good point :ayatollah:

As you state, you grew up with blue, white and yellow and consider that 'the norm', so if (hopefully due to our continued success) we were to play in red at home for, say, 10+ seasons then the younger (newer) supporters will have 'grown up' with the red, so by default the blue would be largely forgotten and consigned to the history books, surely?

Not wishing it to happen, but it is a thought, eh? :( :ayatollah:

I agree Sven, which is why I don't understand that people assume that we will just return to blue at some point... Which is also why I feel something should be done & why we shouldn't just "roll over" & accept the rebrand!

I'm not that bothered about Tan going, especially if it meant that BLUE was to return (just my thoughts) but ideally, we would work together and hopefully restore the blue with Tan still at the helm! :ayatollah:

Yea you are right but lets put it this way lets not argue over the yellow that was added to the kit many many years ago but the blue and white is the clubs colours and has been for 100 years or so that stands for a lot.

What you have said is right and it makes me desperate to get the true colours back as once you go past so many years to many younger fans the red will become the norm .

That to me would be hard to take all the more reason to get cardiff city playing in blue again and soon we have to.

the longer the red continues the worse it will get in terms of going back to blue it pisses me off when people say dont worry sit back do nothing because when Tan goes the blue will be back.

Tan could be here for years and years we then have no chance it has to be asap at least bluebirds unite are having a go we needed someone to do something.

What did you do with your own petition did you send it to the club you had over 1000 people sign it so what happend to it ?

Re: IF WE RETURNED TO BLUE WOULD YOU CARE

if i said "we" that would assume i was speaking for everyone.
i wouldnt want to speak for everyone.
i do hope everyone would accept red away if blue was home hence why i said "they"

Which implies that you're not part of the group of people you were talking about, hence why you were questioned.

Obviously, but the word "they" still doesn't mean that you could be part of the group of people you were referring to and "we" doesn't always apply to everyone. It's strange that you can't work out why there were "misunderstandings" because you chose the wrong word in the first place as you've admitted that you are part of that group.

Your use of "they" implied that, not Jon.

By using the word "they", you were implying that you weren't part of the group that wish to see Cardiff return to it's correct and rightful colours.

Stop digging.
