Yellow is 'traditional' as well now, is it?
With respect, make your mind up; the yellow came in the seventies and can only be called a 'classic' colour![]()
Before that we were simply brown and yellow (in the early days) and then blue and white (in our professional days)

Since Cardiff city have been known as that, they have always worn blue & white. Yellow was added in the 70s and re-added more recently as it proved a popular colour to go alongside the more traditional blue & white.

I started watching the club in the seventies mate thats why its what i grew up with so for 34 years these colours are the bases of the clubs colours to young to remember the brown and yellow

Now, in fairness, you actually bring up a very good point![]()
As you state, you grew up with blue, white and yellow and consider that 'the norm', so if (hopefully due to our continued success) we were to play in red at home for, say, 10+ seasons then the younger (newer) supporters will have 'grown up' with the red, so by default the blue would be largely forgotten and consigned to the history books, surely?
Not wishing it to happen, but it is a thought, eh?![]()

I'm not that bothered about Tan going, especially if it meant that BLUE was to return (just my thoughts) but ideally, we would work together and hopefully restore the blue with Tan still at the helm!

No, you said "they" as if you're not part of the Cardiff fans who do want blue back. If you ARE part of those group of people then you would've said "I" or "we".
I think you have anger issues, you can get help for that...

They "refers to unspecified people or people in general not including the speaker or people addressed" - Dictionary
Which implies that you're not part of the group of people you were talking about, hence why you were questioned.
