Never said they were Chelsea. Jenkins has run them well since he took over & whilst I think they won't go much higher, it could easily be sustained with the right choice of manager (which they've proven time and again, they can do very well).

Europe could be a unwanted extra by next season though. Especially if Williams & Michu leave.

Don't forget, you are punching above your weight in this league too.

No player or manager is bigger than Swansea city. I love the club, not the manager or the players. ;)

To be fair theyve got some real saleable assests in Michu and Williams so will be ok for next season.

Wether they can keep coming good on managers and picking up great bargains remains to be seen.

The luck will run out. They've done brilliantly so far but great managers don't grow on trees - especially with the financial restraints they're proud of. I hope they hang around for a short while anyway.

Roberto Di Matteo - wouldn't mind him here. But, there's nothing concrete in the rumours about Laudrup. Just wish his gobshite agent would stop bumping his gums!

Fair enough. To base it all on luck is a tad unfair to them, I'd say.. But I would be delighted to see the bubble burst.

I think if they do want to continue to survive, they've got to loosen the purse strings a bit, otherwise they will continue to be a conveyer belt for players and/or managers.

Fair play he's a nightmare isn't he?

He'd be perfect in the role of Vincent Tans PR

If the stories are true then I am right behind Jenkins. If he set a transfer budget of x amount and ML agreed to it before going off on hols and now turning around and saying he wants more then he knows where the door is. He knew the score when he signed the contract.

I'd hoped that we would have learned by now & kept quiet a bit.

exactly Chucks, this is a bit embarrassing TBH some don't learn do they. If they loose Laudrup then they will get a suitable replacement that's for sure.

To be fair to his agent. Laudrup's stock may never be higher than it is right now. Or could go backwards if he things Swansea will struggle next year so he's just trying to get his money and improve his clients standing.

If I was a betting man id say he and Michu will be at Swansea at the sart of the season.
