Do We Really Want VT To Leave?

Polo your right I can't believe how dull half these people are that can't see the differance in the club and the progress we are making not just on the field but the academy, training ground,stadium plans the whole picture! If we lose tan we risk losing all this progress.

From what I read you cant want blue, and want your team to be succesful.

Some people think if you say you want to go back down to the dungeon to get the Blue back it makes you more of a Bluebird

Obviously our wage bill will increase when we bring in new players, but what we lose on players wages and other running costs per month will be peanuts compared to what we will financially gain next season. But hey, one season in the Premiership will sort all that , pay the majority of the debt off and we can get a new owner in, possibly the Venkys

Like I said, promotion to the Premiership will go a considerable way to paying off our debt. Unless we are wreckless with our spending, we should be making a healthy profit next season.

We are £100m in debt and the clubs needs propping up of between £1-2m per month. Our wages will have increased next season so how on earth can you claim we will make a healthy profit?

Have you read the article? We are guaranteed a minimum of 63 million next season for coming bottom, plus possible extras for how well we do, TV appearances, gate receipts etc. Plus we will receive future big payments for the next few seasons, even if it's just parachute payments after getting relegated. If we are not too silly with our spending and spend a good few seasons in the Premiership, we will start eating the debt away.

I haven't moved the goalposts. One season in the Premiership will give us SEVERAL seasons of Premiership funding, with parachute payments if we get relegated being the worst scenario. But if we manage to stay in the Premiership for several seasons to reap even bigger financial benefits than the parachute payments, then that would be great.

The premiership money is to help with the increased outgoings, the parachute payments are to help with relegated teams still paying premiership wages.

It dont leave much left to clear the "MAJORITY OF OUR DEBT" when it stands at 100m. It will barely put a dent in it.

Do the math ffs. or better still take a look at the likes of Pompey, Wolves.etc who all received parachute payments and that didnt put them in gods pocket.

Tan and malky have a good working relationship and that's important, below that we have malky who has been fantastic in transforming the club over the last few years. From Tan down to the youth the whole club is moving forward.

If a new owner came in what if he wanted to replace malky? or spend money wildly.

Look at qpr swapping managers regularly, spending over the odds. With the relationship Tan and malky have that doesn't look likely to happen.
Another example is Reading who got rid of a good manager when they hit panic stations.

We have stability, fantastic relationships all through the club, progress on training youth and other important areas safeguarding the future of the club.

Br careful what you wish for in Tan going as you don't know who the new owner will be. Apart from red this club is in the best position it have ever been.

cos wen he floats it he will do some lavish corporate advertisement for china and the far east pushing the red

A tiny fraction of fans are bothered about the re-brand. MB's do give the impression that this is a major issue amongst fans.......in my opinion it is not.

If there was a concerted effort against VT and CCFC were affected financially because of it I'd walk away......just like Pompey fans have. (plus a multitude of others)

All those fans whining on about Blue etc claim to be the most loyal of fans.
