Steve you have my upmost respect and that will never change but please understand it is difficult to sit back and do nothing when you see our traditional identity being slowly eroded. I have watched the Bluebirds for over 48 years and at the very time we have reached the top level of the football pyramid I feel completely undervalued by the club, a replaceable customer.

Next season the club have a real opportunity to show respect to our traditional club colours by wearing them in as many as 15 of our away games, are the club prepared to do that? If not Why?

As a fan I don't want to harm our club but from my standpoint any harm is being self inflicted by a series of PR nightmares, that two tone red kit being the latest.

All summer now people are talking about the re brand again , I just think the club missed a trick here

In simple terms the club could put all this to bed by reverting back to blue.

Then sort the badge and there would be little else to moan about.

What a HUGE boost that would be to the fans.

The only other thing that might appease many is for some actual evidence to come out that this rebrand will bring in further investment from the Far East, as there doesn't seem to have been any evidence of this to date, only Tan's continuing backing.

Good question darren and the one question on every FANS lips but dont expect a clear answer all you would get if you had an answer that is would be how one believes the asian market needs red ect ect rather than a yes or no, seen the same thing question 20times put out to steve on the other board its avoided with a yes or no answer. :ayatollah:

Tan has surrounded himself with "yes" men,no one has the bollocks to tell him hes made a mistake and is humiliating the paying customer.

A truly ignorant post and I am embarrassed for you, Travis

Steve Borley is a Bluebird hero and I can't think of anyone else (from within) who has done more to ensure that Cardiff City Football Club is STILL around today. Born literally a few metres from Ninian Park, Steve grew up with the club in his blood and would never do anything that would compromise it (whether that be in the present of the future)

Trust me, it is to the benefit of us mortal fans that we STILL have a man of Steve's integrity on board because despite the multitude of good that Tan has done, he (Tan) would have taken the so-called re-branding an awful lot further than he has if it weren't for people a little closer to him than us offering advice

I suspect YOU are yet another one who says a lot and does feck all in reality. Truly embarrassing, fella  :(

Whilst I disagree with his thoughts on the rebrand & his constant dismissing of the blue and history on twitter, anyone who questions Steve Borley and his commitment to the club should be embarrassed.

The man is Cardiff City through and through & I think that deep down inside, he knows its wrong that CCFC are in red... but the reality of it was that the consequences of alienating Tan at the time could have been far worse than seeing us in red.

Steve, those words say EVERYTHING that I have been banging on about for many weeks/months; just in a more simple, less antagonising and coherent way! :ayatollah:

We have indeed come an awful long way in recent years on an emotional roller coaster and we MUST ensure the huge amount of good work is not undone for the sake of Cardiff City Football Club itself :ayatollah:

After the Sam Hammam initial meeting back in the day, Steve gave me a life to meet my dad in the Halfway in Pontcanna in his Land Rover. Legend. I was in plenty of time for last orders.

Re: FAO Steve Borley

To say "Steve Borley needs to prove anything to Cardiff is absurd"
Petition or no petition ... If anyone saw him at Burnley he was the last man of the pitch and pretty much stayed there until the fans had left also...

Anyone who saw him could quite easily see where his loyalties lay.

He is Cardiff City.
He Will Always be Blue....
And he doesn't need to sign a petition or come on here to defend himself,to justify it in my eyes.

Steve,

How is a petition counter productive?
How can fans wanting a return to our rightful colours with a Bluebird prominent on the badge harm our football club?
What is the point of people having a voice and an opinion if the club is aware of the blue issue, but just keeps ignoring it?

Thanks.
