I wasn't going to vote as the red blah blah blah sickens me to be honest. I then decided to vote for option 2. Reason being I thought it was the only ones that actually went with the rest. Black is awful. That two toned... Well! White? No. May as well go all out and look like Liverpool. Spew.

I didn't take part in the ballot but I have enough respect for a democratic process to say that Red / Black it is and at least that decision has been made by the fans. The fact that just a few days ago we had an ALL red playing strip we should ALL look on this as a victory for fans power and be happy with the outcome for that reason.

I have no doubt that if Blue had been an option then that would have won, but it wasn't and that's an end to it. I hope now that someone at the club remembers to change the white trim on the shirt and socks to black, last season the socks had black trim on them. I only say this because I believe the white trim was on the original shorts but will now look out of place. I just want that because like others I want the kit to look the very best it can.

We have a victory for fan power here so maybe now is the time to insist we get a commitment from the club that our team wear the Blue alternative kit in as many matches as possible next season. That could be as many as 16 of the away matches next season.

Finally someone who speaks sense!
