Jon stop peddling this anti rebrand shit mate. You cant claim to hate the rebrand when you're willing to buy one of Tans rebrand kits and support his vision. You may think you are not but you're just kidding yourself. Anyone who buys the merchandise, red or blue or yellow or pink in the females section is supporting the rebrand. They can claim they aint but they are and thats that.

TLG dont buy it. Plenty of others dont buy it. They dont support the rebrand. You do. You're not fooling anyone sunshine.

At least the clubs choice was new and unique, but we all know how new and unique flies with parochial CCFC fans.

I despair that there is an uproar and then we pick the worst matching option of them all. This is why fans shouldn't be given power.

Its not about how it looks with the shirt. Its about getting our Championship winning traditional red and black kit back. We won a trophy in that kit scheme so we should all be happy with the outcome.

Imagine white shorts? Ridiculous. No history in red and white.
Imagine dark red? We may as well be called Lost & Found FC.
Imagine red? Liverpool B FC. No thanks.

So happy to get our own kit back. Just what we need for the Premier League.

Do you really think that Tan cares about the other kits? The only way you're supporting the rebrand is by wearing red, I don't do that. Badges change at all clubs once in a while. It's not even Tan's badge, it's Barrie's. I don't like the badge but it says 'Cardiff City FC' on it and it has our Bluebird on it so that will do for me.

All Tan cares about is red. You're kidding yourself if you think otherwise. I'll continue to buy the blue shirts along with many others who are against the rebrand.

Not sure why we chose to change the colour of our shorts but this club needs some stability after last year. :malky:

Ok, now this 2013/14 kit debacle has finally reached a conclusion of black shorts, I now think Tan & Co just move their attention to improving the shirt. (I'm not opening the blue debate, as it's sadly not happening any time soon.

I'm not fussed on Puma's cookie-cutter simple shirt template, but after hearing Wolves 2013/14 have the same one, I was gutted to find there's actually looks better.

I noticed this was because of the black trim/details with black shorts. If we must were Red, if we must wear this kit. Please make the below colour changes to the shirt to make it look better, and more like last seasons kit.

You guys think this looks more bearable, than with the white trim/detail?

give it a rest you clown. We're not getting blue back and the best we could hope for was the kit we won our trophy with.

do you want us to go through an array of bloody kits or something? Id rather not. The less we change kits the better. Then when Tan goes we'll have his red and black legacy and we'll return back to blue. No other BS kits to think about. Just those 2 schemes in our history. I dont want about 400 kit schemes like Watford. Tan will get bored and sell once the profit comes in or its time to walk but whilst he is here its red and we need to stick to something. Also, I do think Tan wanted the full red kit anyway. The guy loves red in an almost disturbing way so it wasn't surprise to hear of a full red kit.

im not living in a world of delusion whereby i think tan will give us our blue kit. its either going to be taken by force and by forcing tan out or its going to return when tan chooses to leave. One of those 2 options. Im not prepared to force Tan out. Are you? if you are go ahead with it. If not then you're prepared to see the club in red. Either way its that simple.

Taken from the official site

The votes have been tallied and verified for the 2013/14 home kit shorts following our email to over twelve thousand season ticket holders on the Cardiff City database.

From the votes received, the clear favourite was option four, with many of our voting Season Ticket holders opting to retain the black shorts from our memorable Championship winning season.

It's a decision that Tan Sri Vincent Tan and all at the club fully supports, and we will next instruct Puma to work on supplying the shorts as soon as possible. Once again, we thank all supporters who took the time to vote.

So,Tan thanks all the people who wanted blue back but voted anyway. :laughing6: I support the rebrand but would like to see the return of our colours one day,it is for that reason I didn't vote.

Who was on the terrace at Mansfield when Alan Lewis was our best defender and we lost 3-0

Who was at Ninian Park when we lost 5-0 to the mighty Maidstone ...... I could go on.

The good old days in blue. Now don't get me wrong, given a choice blue would be the colour but we are where we are - in the premier league wearing RED.

Will Tan be around for ever - no. What will the next owner do to get the fans on side - change the kit to Blue. The majority of the people on here will tell you that the second coming has arrived because the colour of the kit has changed.

In the mean time one of the big 4 will have a kit all the same colour with the shorts being a different shade and it will be a marketing masterpiece - and we will kick ourselves for missing a trick.

Just a look back at the past and an insight into the future........

Come on everyone - this is a great time in City's history - who gives a shit what the colour of the shorts are - let's enjoy this because losing against Hereford in the Welsh Cup in front of one man and his dog wasn't much fun - waiting for some of the best teams in the world to turn up next season is ...... I accept it's not pefect but it's not bad is it :ayatollah: :ayatollah: :ayatollah:

Which Tan owns. Your money is going to fund his ideology for Cardiff City FC. When you put money into TESCO you are supporting TESCO. Cardiff City FC at the moment == Vincent Tans Football Toy. Thats what you're supporting when you buy merchandise. At least I admit I and know im doing that. If you wore old blue stuff Id say fair enough and good on you for sticking to your guns but you ain't, you're supporting Tan and his business. You cant claim to be supporting the team as there is no guarantee your money will even make it that far.

That's all irrelevant to me. We're not the only club with fans who hate their owner, that doesn't stop them from buying merchandise from their club or even supporting their club for that matter. The fact is that when I buy a blue shirt from Cardiff City's store, the money goes to Cardiff City, the club I support. You're probably someone who thinks that buying a season ticket means that you're supporting the rebrand. Learn to accept the fact that you can support Cardiff City and be against the rebrand.

Yes if we are having the black shorts then yes , I was surprised the black won as there is no black on the shirt and it just doesn't go with the shirt ( the better options to match were either the same colour red as the shirt or the white)
