White for me, best of a bad bunch. Blue shorts would have however been a good gesture by the club that may have won them some support back

Didn't and won't vote for any (and its nothing to do with colour). The kit is just not worthy of a Premier league team, it's so tacky. I would have thought the club would have really pushed the boat out and had something really special designed for our first entry into the greatest league in world football but hey ho this is Cardiff City do we ever do things right here? :ayatollah:

It's all so very, very clever. You vote and it looks like you've had a say in the clubs colours.
Tan can now say that he gave the fans an option and went with what they chose when in reality there was "no option".
It's psychology in its most basic form and we all know it.

I declined to vote and sent this email to the club.

Thank you for sending me the opportunity to vote on the colour of the shorts for next seasons playing strip.

Unfortunately my personal preference would be "Blue" which has not been offered so I have decided to abstain. At a time when the club are running this "WEARECARDIFFCITY" One City, One Community and One Club I am extremely disappointed that a club that claims to have an "ALL INCLUSIVE ETHOS" could so callously omit our clubs traditional colours from this ballot.

Having said that I'm sure the club will see my position as that of a replaceable fan, one of the 25% who can leave if we don't like how our club is being run. Next season will be my 48th watching "The Bluebirds" and I'm finding it difficult to remember a time when my opinion has counted for less.

I know the club won't give a toss about me as I'm nothing more than a replaceable customer, not a fan as fans don't exist, but I had to stick to my guns here.

Nicely put better than what I sent

5. Blue , I can’t believe this club sometimes , had the perfect opportunity to build some bridges with the fans by given us everything we wanted with some blue finally returning on the kit , instead its like the club has stuck 2 fingers up to the fans again , not happy at all , supposed to be 1 club 1 community maybe that's the case in your offices but it certainly is not through the whole of Cardiff

I personally went for white, as our true colours should be blue, white and yellow. :ayatollah:

Won't vote will not give them the satisfaction of saying they are now consulting with fans. Consulting what shade of red they are going to use or what colour to go with red.

Likewise, my wife and I just voted black, better of the options available. :ayatollah: :ayatollah: :old:

If all those who have refused to vote voted for white then white would be winning, white would be a small step back to our real identity

I can see your point but even that is not enough because the Club would have just got there best PR moment

I voted for the black. Not because I like the rebranded kit, but might as well stick with it. If ever we get a blue home kit back, then the existing one could do for away.

Re: What colour did you vote for (poll)

Thu May 30, 2013 6:42 pm

White has got to be the vote with no blue option.

Re: What colour did you vote for (poll)

Looks like the refusing to vote percentage isn't going to be higher than the 25% of customers he is happy to lose so think Tan will be quite happy. He will be hoping he can make a statement tomorrow which says the majority of fans have shown their support for the new kit by choosing their favourite colour shorts to go with their long awaited new two tone shirt.

You would think seen as they would be our traditional colour shorts but by judging by the poll we will end up with Tan's rebrand kit, Tan will see this as an acceptance to his rebrand last year if everyone picks the colours he chose last year

Has to be the same shade red as the shirt because it looks smarter. The black isnt too bad either. I don't want us having white shorts purely because I don't want us playing in our rivals colors Bristol.

Re: What colour did you vote for (poll)

Thu May 30, 2013 9:41 pm

Hopefully black will get picked.

All red and we're Liverpool.

White shorts and we're United.

Black is the colour shorts we're known for now, and the colours can't change every year. If it's black, it has to stay black. Red and black are our colours now, it's our identity, and no other team in the Prem has it.

Looks like black will win. In all fairness, the kit doesn't look too bad with black, so it's not a total failure.

Ahh so we can't be blue and white because we'd be Everton.

Makes sense now.
