I wouldnt say the majority but you could quite clearly hear it until it got drowned out by clapping.

Being honest I only heard the top half of Canton and hardly anything from Ninian, maybe its where I was sitting as I can never seem to hear the guys down toward the away fans. I can never hear grandstand or family stand anyway

Well I was in the bottom half of the Canton and all around me were singing it.

Either way, it wont make any difference, the guy doesnt care about the fans.

Re: In fairness this is bollox

The Ninian was in full voice with it too.

From where I was, it was a very large chorus of it, not often you hear that at CCS.

The vast majority of fans weren't singing it.

We've had protests, campaigns of various sorts and its never amounted to any more than a couple of hundred.

Getting people to like a facebook page is hardly a fair reflection. Those that organise this have no doubt got all their friends to like etc.

I have over 500 followers on twitter but I'm realistic enough to know the vast majority don't give a toss what I tweet about.

In answer to your question...... no I dont think facebook is a real campaign. Those that turned up in the city centre was. 200 hundred odd.

A campaign is a campaign, if facebook isn't a campaign then because its internet based then why do governments encourage people to use their petitions website..? Same thing isn't it..? internet based..?

With your connections to the blue rinse brigade you'd have to ask them.

If the majority of people feel strongly about it (which they don't) why didn't they turn up in the city centre? 30K did when celebrating winning the championship and if I remember correctly the players were awash in red.

Abuse? You're losing the plot mate.

Admit you are right? Jeez, all you've come up with is 1600 liking a facebook page whilst ignoring ST sales, attendances, merchandise sales and lack of people at demonstrations.

So using the term 'Blue rainse brigade' isn't you trying to be funny then is it..?

Whether or not you want to accept it is completely up to you but the facebook campaign together with other internet campaigns are a modern day forum of campaigning. FACT which even Governments of the day accept but you can't

As I said typical politician's reply.

You totally ignore all the obvious points (ST sales etc) as irrelevant yet stick with a facebook page.

If we were in boxing ring together your corner would of thrown in the towel a long time ago.

Ive have clearly stated that new fans have taken up manyof the season tickets and brought the merchindise and the only way you can prove your point is by getting a print off of the database over a period of time to go by the names. Its YOU who has clearly ignored points within this debate.

I have nothing to prove...... ST sales, attendances, sales of merchandise, etc etc proves it.

All you have to offer is a facebook page and claiming loads have walked away and we now have a bunch of strangers at the club.

You have no point....... facebook and non attencance at demonstrations shows that.

One last thing...... I also believe that certain fans jockey for position with the club by setting up various groups to cover themselves in case they miss out on future meetings.

I think it's a case of "running with the fox and hunting with the hounds."

'I ignore the points you were making about seasonticket holders'. Yet I've stated about new fans on more than one occasion within this debate

You're like a dog with a bone......yes you believe facebook is a campaign. I believe a facebook campaign to be meaningless. Was this facebook camapign up and running when the demonstration was held in the city centre?

You claim that many fans walked away with no proof whatsoever........ Im going by sales, attendances and merchandise etc.

I realise people have walked away .....and I respect them for it. My point is its a very small amount.

In fact I'd say I more than respect some of them......I greatly admire those that have washed their hands of following the club and not crying over it for months on end.

Let's do this logically......... how many people got their money back on ST's when we switched from blue to red? I'll be generous by saying 100. If I remember correctly we had around 17k ST holders. Now even you can't argue with that. But I know you will by stating ...... oh hang on what about non ST holders...many of them did. Which you and I know is total shite.

You're just trying to fit a square peg hole into a round hole.

If mine is baseless then yours is not only baseless but ludicrous.

I am going by what I mentioned earlier....you are going by what you "think."

We both know no one will get access to the database.

I personally don't know anyone who has stopped attending games other then mb users. I have followed the City for 47 years and in that time I know plenty of fans as obviously my friends are like minded people.

It's a cop out by claiming " all the fans who have stopped going on principle have just been replaced." You can't back this up.

The fact is the number of fans who asked for their money back was a tiny fraction........now you answer that point.

Lets be honest the ONLY way you can prove your arguement is if you could produce a copy of the database over the last few years. Until then your point (not only in this thread) is totally baseless

Actually don't bother replying ......it's tiring.

I've had better debates elsewhere.

I'll put it down to your UKIP experience.
