A non-story?

Growing in stature?

You won a minor cup final (your words not ours) and hardly set the footballing world alight since!

Your manager (like Dalglish some years ago) can see the writing on the wall with the current bunch and desperately needs re-inforcements of a quality he simply isn't going to get, so it is time for him to say "I'm currently still a footballing celebrity; get me out of here please!"

And if you think we are being hard on you, just cast your mind back a couple of seasons and re-visit the 'stick' that came from your end and has only now started to subside because you just know you have been relegated to the No.2 team in Wales again; both in stature and size!

Laudrup's bread may well be buttered in Swansea but the jam lies elsewhere ;) :ayatollah:

If there was an official approach it would be all over the media, his agent is just trying to drum up interest in Laudrup from bigger clubs , its how agents work

He's not doing a very good job of that by telling clubs that he's not going to be leaving this summer and talking about deals that are lined up for next season.

It didn't say he wasn't interested in leaving though did it , it said he would only stay on the condition he would get lots of funds to spend , you and I don't know what will happen with regards to if he stays or goes(be funny if he did as you're so confident he won't leave Swansea)

Regarding the funds its all mind games with the selling clubs, the Swans Board and Laudrup keep their cards close, they never let on how much money they have to spend as it may drive the price up on players.
We have made a profit last season and have the increased income from the Prem to look forward to, I think laudrup will be given an adequate budget.

Laudrup's agents stance is a lot more reliable than SSN.

This is what his agent has had to say about things - "Michael Laudrup, just now, is very happy at Swansea City. Of course Michael has had offers from elsewhere.
"Other teams can wait one or two years. We know Michael is going to train the big teams but this is not the moment."

This is something laudrip will have to deal with at swansea, because they are a small club operating on a small budget. They will have the smallest stadium in the prem league next year a well

you SCFC state you are well run now and the previous owners were the bad debtors etc, isnt it the same with us? Typical blinkered jacks...We spent far less than other championship clubs this season and won the league pretty easily. Only Maynard cost big and he will prove good next year and didnt even feature this season. Cant see you doing any better than you have done last few seasons im gutted to say....let the inevitable slide begin..... :ayatollah:

No, Vincent Tan has contributed to more debt than all your owners in your history have contributed to combined. You may have spent less than Blackburn, but that's about it, and being better run than Blackburn isn't something to gloat about.

Kim, Velikonja and Mutch all cost in and around £2 million.

We're in a better position on and off the pitch than we've ever been in before, and there's less of a chance for us to fail than ever before.

The way we run the club in the past has nothing to do with the way our owners run the club, which is what the original post is referring to.

We have different owners now that run the club properly but that don't stop you lot constantly bringing up our debt..
