Now that is an insult. I agree Annis, however the rebrand hasn't put as many people off going as everyone first thought. Lots of posters on here, including myself, yourself, Chuckles etc etc are dead against the rebrand but have decided we love Cardiff City more.
I'm reluctant to support the expansion of our stadium because the fans simply don't come if we aren't playing at the top level which is a crying shame.

EdinburghBlue wrote:"but have decided we love Cardiff City more" That all sounds very romantic, but you know and i know, that everytime you and the thousands of others sat your sorry arses on a seat in the CCS last season, then you were endorsing the colour change. No protests, no boycotts no anti red banners nothing. Just 20k+ city fans every other week turning up in their droves, uttering their disgust at the change to red, then taking their places in the stadium. A few had the conviction to stay away, while the majority just bent over and took it, whilst disguising it all under smoke screens such as "it's still Cardiff City" blah blah blah etc etc etc. For those who genuinely accepted the rebrand, then good for you. For those like yourself and others who you claim hated the change, then i hope you are happy next season watching the bluebirds run out in red shirts, red shorts and red socks. You have achieved your dream, but imo, have sunk lower than a snakes belly to achieve it. Sorry if this post upsets a few on here, but as a lifelong City fan, i am angry and bitter at the way a guy like Tan was able to swan in, and threaten us and blackmail us, with threats of pulling out, and the club dying, if we didn't run with him. A guy who has publicly stated, he doesn't mind losing a qtr of our fanbase to get his own way.Bluebird since 1948 wrote:Forever Blue wrote:Bluebird since 1948 wrote:Look at all these people the rebrand has pissed off. If he had had the decency to put the rebrand and all that it entails to a democratic vote, to the ST holders and fanbase, and the result had come back as a yes, then i'd have been more than willing to participate, but as far as i'm concerned he can shove his vision/dream/moneymaking plan up his arse.

A lot of them actually played football/rugby every Sat afternoon while in their 20's/30's, and now they're a bit older, they want to go and watch the team they've always loved...I welcome them all... plastics or not...
