We are unhappy when we don't sell out and moan when we do sell out!?!?

My worry will be when genuine long term fans cannot get/afford tickets. Don't think that is the case at present.

Your sounding like Gwyn

These people you call them, a lot are wanting to go,only because its Premier League, SADLY A FACT.

Now that is an insult. I agree Annis, however the rebrand hasn't put as many people off going as everyone first thought. Lots of posters on here, including myself, yourself, Chuckles etc etc are dead against the rebrand but have decided we love Cardiff City more.

I'm reluctant to support the expansion of our stadium because the fans simply don't come if we aren't playing at the top level which is a crying shame.

I can't believe what I am reading, this club want's to progress and move with the times, to do that we need to increase capacity and bring more supporters to games, this will meen new fans; some will have been before, for some this could be their first game.
The important thing is that they come to watch usnot go to the jacks or support other teams,

Wow, how I disagree with most of the posts on this subject, the majority of our 'new' fans are people who used to go 'back in the day'. A lot of them actually played football/rugby every Sat afternoon while in their 20's/30's, and now they're a bit older, they want to go and watch the team they've always loved...I welcome them all... plastics or not...

"but have decided we love Cardiff City more" That all sounds very romantic, but you know and i know, that everytime you and the thousands of others sat your sorry arses on a seat in the CCS last season, then you were endorsing the colour change. No protests, no boycotts no anti red banners nothing. Just 20k+ city fans every other week turning up in their droves, uttering their disgust at the change to red, then taking their places in the stadium. A few had the conviction to stay away, while the majority just bent over and took it, whilst disguising it all under smoke screens such as "it's still Cardiff City" blah blah blah etc etc etc. For those who genuinely accepted the rebrand, then good for you. For those like yourself and others who you claim hated the change, then i hope you are happy next season watching the bluebirds run out in red shirts, red shorts and red socks. You have achieved your dream, but imo, have sunk lower than a snakes belly to achieve it. Sorry if this post upsets a few on here, but as a lifelong City fan, i am angry and bitter at the way a guy like Tan was able to swan in, and threaten us and blackmail us, with threats of pulling out, and the club dying, if we didn't run with him. A guy who has publicly stated, he doesn't mind losing a qtr of our fanbase to get his own way.
If he had had the decency to put the rebrand and all that it entails to a democratic vote, to the ST holders and fanbase, and the result had come back as a yes, then i'd have been more than willing to participate, but as far as i'm concerned he can shove his vision/dream/moneymaking plan up his arse.

I gather you are the same lump of sh*te that spews out your drivel daily on mikes board??? i don't really understand your bitterness towards Cardiff City because you hav'nt watched them play for years have you??? do us all a favour and do one!!!!

This 'plastics' thing is done to death.

If they are at the CCS cheering City on then they aren't plastics - simple. Doesn't matter what they were doing or where they were last season.

My lad and his mate were in the '600' who did more than 6 aways last season (10 each) , both season ticket holders, yet his mate was a Villa fan until a few years ago (his dad is from Birmingham and supported them all his life) - he now loves the City and never turns down a trip on our bus to some grey Northern mill-town. These kids have probably been to more games than 3/4 of the posters on this board and most likely 90% of those moaning about plastics.

Make the ground bigger and fill it with people from South Wales. They will soon be as mad as the rest of us. :malky:

In fairness we've all had the chance to get season tickets for the past few years and everyone who had them had the opportunity to renew, so MOST of the people in the ground will be fans we've had since we first moved in to the CCS.

I am a example of above having only been a st holder for 5 years, went to midweek games before a ST holder and the odd Saturday when not involved in local football . IMO a plastic is a fan of a big prem club that never goes to a game. Finally any real fan would have a season ticket with the finance options made available by the club I think the cheapest season ticket is £379 and that works out about £20 a game and about £10 a week through the finance deal, less than 3 or 4 pints.
