I reckon about 200-250 will turn up.
Personally I reckon they should of just kept it about the Rebrand, not Modern football, that lost hundreds, but there again this was nothing to do with me, but I totally Respect their stance against anything to do with the Rebrand.
Well enjoy the Weekend, I will be away with my Family. :ayatollah:

So you reckon 250 people will be there and you find it interesting I'm not one of them, I think people will find it more strange that after the fuss you make you wont be there!!!

If it is a celebration to show how important the blue is to all of us, then without huge numbers i am afraid it may backfire. If there were thousands there then it may show Vt, but he came out with this 25% figure, so possibly any less will just reinforce his decision that there isn't that much opposition, hard one to call, can't blame anyone for trying to unite things without disrupting on field events.

If you recall the infamous Muni meeting, the only threats made ( and none by me as you are well aware of) was to anyone intending to disrupt the team and on field events, i have made several suggestions starting initially at the first meeting down the club where a peaceful show of unity was suggested rather than throwing smoke bombs on the pitch and refusing to buy season tickets which would have just hurt the club in my opinion.

My position never changed from the first time I was told of the plans, didn't want it but seen no alternative to protect the club, as you remember you were dead against it first meeting, then at the second one when you me and many others thought he was walking away instantly changed your mind (which everyone is allowed to do) and then said you didn't think it would get to this and you didn't really mean what you had said in the first meeting and would accept it for the sake of the club, only then for a few days later to change your mind again (which you are allowed to).

Many people have changed or adjusted their initial reaction, and more and more as time as gone on and Vt has backed up his plans with things falling into place bit by bit, this was to be accepted as was failure in the League last year without doubt leading to major problems, some fans wanted us to fail just for that reason, and i find that sad as a Cardiff fan who has waited a lifetime for these days, but there we are, we are all different.

When this was launched as a celebration of blue, then I thought good idea and at a good time with no disruption, Possibly should have had a bit more of a theme and perhaps some stalls or rides and made it a kids and family thing in Coopers field or there about. If it had been and still could be, the evidence could be used when Vt meets the fans , or when it's passed on through Simon Lym the CEO.

Think it would attract more media coverage and send out a proper family blue type message that may have struck a chord with Vt,, i nearly said with the club, but they aren't the one's that need convincing are they?

Just hope the day passes without any negative comebacks, because I think could work against things if that is the case.

Still think we need to get VT on board and ask him what we can do as a bargaining tool to if not get the blue back in the next season or so, at least let us see it at away games etc. and then possibly when we are an established and successful team, we can ditch the red and attract the investment he's after purely on our success as an attractive Premiership club.

On thing I think that may appeal to him, is if we as fans ask about filling a Jumbo Jet (sponsored by Malaysian airways ;) ) and 500 of us going pre season next year for some friendlies between us and teams over there with the fans acting as ambassadors, I could see this being a major PR cue for VT and attract a lot of positive publicity for Him and the links he's trying to forge with Malaysia.

There must be something we could come up with that would tempt him, that way he would not be losing face and it could lead to a win win for all parties. :ayatollah: :ayatollah:

I won't be there because I am with my family in Mallorca and they come first every time. Also I have had nothing to do with it. But you like to be there on everyone of these meetings for some reason, just really interested why not this time, bit of a different kind of fan this time attend.

Why not this time? can't see where your coming from, there have been about six or seven meetings, two protest marches, and several cancelled, and in total I have attended one and that was at the Muni where we had been told people were planning and boasting to disrupt on field events, there are lot's of people not happy with pitch invasions, sit downs and smoke bombs thrown on the pitch etc.

Would have been tempted to attend a celebration, but family weekend like so many others, but I think a lot of people are confused as to the plans, some think it's a celebration, some thing it's a protest, some think it's a march, and some seem to think it's just a piss up?as for a different type of fan? what does that mean, haven't seen a type of fan invited, thought it was open to all our fans, is it a bit exclusive because best that people know rather than get turned away.

Genuinely thought it was for everyone! but not a member of the facebook group so don't really know. But don't think anyone should be excluded or it would send out confusing message!

Gwyn, on a serious note I would love to be able to work with you and work together if you were serious about keeping our identity going. Tan would of listened if people had not arse licked him and just accepted it. I found Tan, not the person you had described, in fact a man who would of worked with us.

As for arse licking, I think that people who bought their season ticket and gave him their money, didn't see it as arse licking him, more so as reluctant reds, we didn't have much choice as I see it, some took the extreme step of walking away and we have to respect that, perhaps if more had done that it may have shown him and stopped the changes, but a lot of us were not prepared to take that step.

I do think that Tan was the man who I had visions of and I do feel he would have walked away with no qualms, but I do think from what i see and hear his outlook as changed and this is something I spoke of in the very early days, get him sucked in and part of it and we'd have more chance of getting somewhere, I hope and pray that he's got the bug and looking at ways to change things without losing face, and we should be doing our best to facilitate that.
Don't think he would have worked with us at all in the early days, f**k me it must have taken him two years before any of us heard the man speak.

Do you want us to keep the Blue going and in a Respectful manner, if so, it would be great and all the sarcasm and belittling to stop. We could still support our team, but our fans in Blue. :ayatollah: :ayatollah:

Sarcasm and belittling, f**k me that is a one sided view, how much personal and childish name calling have I taken, and take it I do because to me it just shows people haven't got an answer or good point to put up against something, therefor they resort to abuse.

If It's belittling to point out the inaccuracies and comment on things like sixteen year olds saying they are against modern football etc. then I don't think they need me to belittle them because they do a pretty good job on their own, as people have pointed out, shooting someone down who makes ridiculous claims in my eyes is fare game.
Malaysian only sections, and not buying a programme as a protest etc deserves to be shot down or debated,to be honest without those type of debates/arguments, the views on here would be halved in my opinion.

As for keeping the bluebird going, I have never said different, I am covered in bluebird tatts, all my leisure clothes have the old badge and old colours, not many club shirts but never have.
Always wanted to keep it, but not at the cost of possibly losing or hurting the club, as I keep repeating, it's always been for me about what's best for the club rather than what suits me, but as I say, we are all different.

Of now to enjoy my time with my 3 daughters :ayatollah: :ayatollah:

Doesn't take much.

Things in life change due to progress. Some progress go unopposed while other progresses get nowhere. However our progress was doing alright then went wrong. Seems that's how things work out for us.

The blue issue really has taken the shine off getting promoted to the premier for sure.

Gwyn Davies won't be going as his intimidation with the lads attending would only see him floored. We are fed of of his crap and he damn well knows it.
