The article supports what I said, that the media characterised him as Christian but many dispute that. He has pro Christian stuff in his ideas, but also anti Christian stuff so it's a real mix.

I certainly wouldn't pull my fone out and start filming it. Even if you were scared, you'd either be on yor toes, or you'd try and help. But I certainly wouldn't be fuking filming it. What if it was some crazed ex bf attacking a woman, some phsyco attacking a kid? Would people just stand around with their fones filming it? Very strange mentality if you ask me, and a bit worrying

I understand what you are saying craig, and maybe I'm a bit of a romantic by assuming the british mentality is to at least try and help out, maybe back in the day when mobile fone were not about. Maybe in todays society the thing to do, is to pull yor fone out and film it. I do find it slightly worrying though mate. Thought us brits had a bit more about us than that. But like I said.. Maybe I'm living in a fantasy world thinking like that. i just hope that if I'm ever in serious bother like that then at least one bystander would try and throw a brick or something

You have just witnessed two men butcher a man in the street, he's then telling you waving a screwdriver and meat cleaver around in bloodied hands to film him make a speach. I imagine i'd be terrified, you much the same.

a crazed man coming at me with a machete and a gun.. I would no doubt more than likely been on my toes. But is it normal behaviour to pull yor fone out and start filming? He hasn't got you boxed in, yor out on the street, so in my book, even if he's coming at you and telling you to film, normal behaviour would be either to high tail it or look for something to pick up.. in the situation like yesterday then run would be a good option. but by fuk would I just stand their and start filming. Theirs gunna come a point one day, that people won't even bother phoning the police anymore, everyones priority will be to get their fones out, switch on HD mode and start filming. Its a worrying phenomenon for me that in this world of smart fones etc people are more concerned about getting the best angle, than using common sence and getting the f**k away or trying to help out. That maniac could have quite easily started attacking bystanders that were filming him, then we could have had a few more fatalities

Christians? None of us are Christians, we dropped religion a long time ago in this country. Look at the latest stats on church goers where more than two-thirds of a tiny congregation are over 70. We are British.

Islam is a evil religion in the wrong hands, time to take it head on. Some of the stuff that goes on behind closed doors in mosques is beyond belief. What are our government going to do about it?? It's only going to get worse, we need to act now.

Your right, all the hate preachers should be deported, you cant blame the human rights act because the government can just ignore it and deport them anyway.

What is annoying is the people blaming all muslims because a few nutters did what they did

The issue is some of those preaching hate and those carrying out attacks in the name of allah are born here. We need to have "Guantamano bay" style prison here. Deporting those who are born here isn't an option. To tackle this issue we need a top down approach, take out the preachers of hate early on and the rest will sort itself out.

We definitely don't need a guantanemo bay, some people there haven't even been charged with a crime.

Put them on trial by all means but we need to round them all up and keep them in one place away from the rest of us. Feed and water them, let them pray and spread their vile message but no one can hear them. Problem solved.

Read the Quran and you'll find different. Islam is a peaceful religion.

I've read it. Women being stoned to death. Gays being hanged. Theives have hands cut off. Women who have affairs are beheaded. Muslim men are aloud to rape their wifes.Women arent aloud to drive (saudi araba). Muslim men can marry underage girls. Forced marriges. Women cant vote or protest. On the news how many women do you see in muslim countrys. All men.
