' Malky: Squad only needs "Tweaking" '

A complete overhaul is not needed, if we do that there'll be no team just a bunch of individuals playing for themselves (i.e. QPR). We've got a good number of quality players that are definitely capable of challenging in the bottom half of the Premier. A few quality signings and a some back up players would be fine. Malky is probably going to want to keep some funds back for the January transfer window.

IMO Norwich only tweaked in their first summer. They have done extremely well.

I can't believe people think that a complete overhaul is needed? The team have just stormed the championship, maybe not with quality football but they did what needed to be done to get out of the division.

Malky is saying that we have a core squad and he is going to try and bring in 4-6 players that are better than what we have i.e. minor tweaking. some of the players we have will move down the pecking order for a starting place, just like what happened after his first season. He brought in players that were better than what we had and now he is trying to do the same again but at a higher level.

Come on in Malky we trust

On that , we stormed the championship with our main striker out for most of the season and when we replaced him (Campbell) he was injured as well , just think how many more points we would of got if they were fit for most of of the season

Still an average of just a little over 10 players being signed per Club which says it all really.

I think we need to increase the squad anyway and get 8-10 players in and get 4-5 out, I don't see places for Gestede, Conway, Cowie, Smith and Mason in the Premiership. Maybe Mason, just to go out on loan.

Mason needs games hes got bags of potential
