top footballer
Or we do watch football and think he is past it? We all have different opinions and whilst he was a great signing almost 10 years ago, he wouldn't be now.

Would you like to see him return now we are Premier League

As someone on here would say Hmm

100% YES!!!!

Cracking signing if he's fit. Hes very much into his golf and has tried qualifying for the open I believe.

Half and half on this signing, would expect a little better but considering if he is on cheap it would be worth a punt.

DIM DIOLCH!!!!!!!!!!

Good signing if its a free transfer.
He would definitely add to the skill pool of our squad.
To compare him against Whitts......I think O'Neil would run him off the park imo. Whitts needs to shake off the shackles and run a bit. I think Whitts would up his game with these types of players around. It's this lack of running which I think makes him a turn off for Malky, his skill is not in doubt.
Back to O'Neil......Talented, Premier experience, hard grafter, a 100% Malky type.
We need a few of these types of players in our dressing room.

Why put a headline like this carl, only been done to catch awareness ,come on carl this was years ago, couldnt you just put a gary o niell name up...dont be putting headers like this !!!!

one of the best players ive seen play at ninian in my time, solid prem player which we could definitely do with. letting the likes of mcphail go and replacing them with him makes for a strong squad!

We are going to have to do better than this guy if we are to stay in the prem thats for sure
Sun May 19, 2013 4:15 pm
Cracking player when we had him and one of the best players we have ever had on loan..
that was 9 yrs ago and i think we should be looking at other options.
Sun May 19, 2013 6:21 pm
Think he was one of our best ever loanees, but not again approx 10 years later!
Sun May 19, 2013 8:13 pm
No he was good when we signed him all those years ago when our goal was to stay in the championship.
Sun May 19, 2013 8:35 pm
You must be simply if you think he will improve our premiership team have you watched Wigan they are relegated with far better players.
Sun May 19, 2013 8:48 pm
A seasons contract maybe, but no more than that.
Sun May 19, 2013 9:53 pm
yeah he was quality when he came on loan before, he dominated the midfield, something we lacked, but if we're talking now, then malky is smoking crack if hes seriously looking at him

Made ten starts last season for WHU on a free he's a good bit of business.
Not sure what 'top 6' players our fans think we'll be going for

he's got experience and brings depth. On a free, good business.
