If its part time work you're after, I would imagine jobs will start popping up I'm the next few weeks with students leaving part time jobs to go home for the summer, so just keep trying.
If you don't mind me asking - how old are you? My place of work may hire in the next couple of month, but we only recruit over 18s.

Sorry but what do you want to do..? I have put many job ads up on here and if you are unemployed then the job centre will put you through your CSCS training free of charge then I can get you work. But with all due respect I haven't had a mention from you about the work in which Ive put up.
Like it or not the reality is that you either sink or swim in the working world now get yourself out there and sell yourself FFS!!!
The amount of people Ive rang on simple websites like gumtree because they've put an advert under 'work wanted' is incredible especially if its in an area of the UK where I don't really work in.
My mum just to say to me that you will never be out of work even if I'd have to buy you a bucket and ladder for you to be a window cleaner I will make sure you will be working. Its that work effic which the youngters just dont have these days and its the rest of us paying for it!!!!

grammar incorrect with i admit but the theory is correct. The amount of youngsters not turning up on a Monday morning is so bad that its making employers turn to the older workforce because the vast majority of them have bills and families to pay for and the youngsters only have themselves to blame.
It also annoys the fact out of me when they clearly haven't done everything they could do to get a job yet cry fool when they got no money!!!!

Your generalization of 'young people' is shit mate, i've been on and off work since i left school and before then i was doing a paper round to earn myself a bit extra. I've worked for agencies for the past two years and i can say they are shit, hanging on shoe strings each weeks not knowing if you'll be there the next is a horrible thing to have to go through.
The only time i've been off work is when i was training for the airforce and when my last job suddenly decided they didn't need an agency workforce and sacked 70+ of us in the same day.
