Only
IF there is something in the stories (including him simply being approached for an interview)
Despite the bookies, information is that Malky isn't 'top' of Kenwright's list but is highly rated by Moyse and they may want to have a chat with Malky to gauge 'potential'
Personally, I think he and VT have enough respect for each other to give it at least one season at the CCS

I personally believe a statement is needed from Malky as it would calm everything down and City fans would know where they are

There's rumours and gossip and there's back page full tabloid and online media speculation that he's been considered for the Everton job.
He needs to make a statement to either show commitment to City or an interest in Everton.
Do not blame him for considering his options. He must do what he feels is right for his future career in management and for his family.
Taxi.

its only the press linking him to the job though the same as they are linking every tom dick and harry with other clubs.
how much more commited can he be than spending all day in london friday trying to sort the funding out with tan for his proposed transfer targets.
whats the saying " no news is good news". I would rather he spent his time finding players to help us survive in the premiership than time acknowledging what is just newspaper gossip.

Hes going IMO but nothing to do with statements.
Statements mean nothing.
I'll know who the new manager is when I see the person give an Everton press conference.
Until then I'll just hope its not Malky attending that press conference although I do believe it will be.
Martinez's odds have only come in because of the cup success, nothing to do with an actual plan put in place by Kenwright to get the best man for the job. Unfortunately, because of that we can't ready too much into the bookies odds now either until people in the know start lumping on big shortly before its announced and drastic changes occur in the market.

I don't.

As someone stated earlier, the only reason Neil Lennon and Michael Laudrup distanced thrmselves(neither said they wouldn't take the job - they just said there had been no approach), but it was more down to courtesy as they were both in press conferences at their respective clubs. Cardiff City have already said there has been no official approach
At the moment that's fine with me. The constant conjecture on the message boards and newspapers rehashing old stories aren't helping though. We're in the big time now so have to get used to it

Martinez has been favourite from the start and hashad short odds the whole time

Put yourself in his shoes, he may be thinking I have no intentions of leaving cardiff, but is waiting to be approached anyway. I'm sure we would all be curious, if we were him, wondering if any club was interested us.. It's an ego thing... Or the other side is, he is waiting to be approached and will simply go! I wouldn't begrudge a move for him, he's done wonders for this club!

I don't believe he owes us anything . Along with Tan he has given us Premiership football and he's placed himself in the shop window.
He's clearly playing his cards close to his chest . I do fear the worst thou if he goes. It will take time for another manager to settle in , time that we don't have IMO .

I wonder what Tan is doing or maybe saying to malky with the speech he came out with saying things like the future is looking good etc and here we have all this unrest regarding malky
