We can't compare Watford to the situation he's in with us now though

Everton are indeed a 'big club' then they should be setting their sights higher than Malky in my opinion.

I remember Everton fans (i grew up an everton fan before cardiff took over for me) saying that when they went for Moyes at Preston!!

If Everton get permission to speak to Malky this is maybe a once in a lifetime opportunity. Whatever everyone says Everton are a massive club, it will take us 20 years plus to be anywhere near them. What's to say we get off to a really poor start next season, bottom in Novemeber and Tan sacks Malky. Happens all the time.

most worrying thing is ( i think read someone mentioned it earlier) that if neil lennon goes were in deep shit
cos celtic will be straight in for Malky i reckon so we could be fucked

prob end up with mark hughes as new manager :x

Same outcome could happen at Everton, especially if the likes of Baines & Fellaini follow Moyes out of the door...

I'd be amazed if he went to the SPL from a Prem side.

Everton fans dont want him. Stay where you are loved and adored.

There was even a fan who wanted to engage in gay activities with Malky after promotion. If thats not a display of love I dont know what is.

The 2 with the lowest votes (as voted by the scousers) are the 2 bookies favourites.

If he's offered the job he'd be a fool to turn it down, it would be a big blow to us as he'd probably take his backroom staff and scouts plus 2 or 3 of our players, it would be another rebuilding job down here again. At least it would give us some precious time to get in a replacement and the new guy would have enough time to bring in his players.
Should have a few answers in the next week or so.

It was more the idea of him coming here, i'd like to think wed still sing "we're not f*cking scared"

I'd go for Zola, especially if Watford f**k up the play-offs, I don'/t really rate him, but it'd be funny.

Malky loves us as well. I know Celtic is a big thing for him but to sacrifice PL football for SPL football? Nobody has done that since O'Neill in 2000 and those were the days Leicester played at Filbert Street.

i hope your right that he wudn't go to spl & stay with us i the prem
but im certain he would take the celtic job
lets hope he stay cos we are gonna be fucked if it takes along time to sort out cos that wud affect our transfers BIG TIME

I would like to see Malky come out and turn down the opportunity and send out a mesage to us City fans that he is committed to the cause.

You mean like Brenda did last season when at Swansea and Liverpool were sniffing?

any manager who leaves the Prem for the SPL has no ambition imo

No, they have Ferguson, Weir, and Irvine as well as Steve Round, they may want Malky but not his back up team, Everton like to keep it in the Everton family when it comes to backroom staff the same as Man Utd do :old:
