Bluebirds squad will be strengthened considerably & Gypos will have shipped out their customary quota ! If we get the match timing between our incomers settling in & the JBs new manager's arrival , right , then I see the balance of Welsh footy being returned to its rightful order ! If not home wins !

Very difficult to make a prediction when we don't know what the playing squads will be, nevertheless I'm going for...
...2-2 home draw, 1-1 away draw. :malky:

carlccfc wrote:Ahead of the first Premier League South Wales Derby, as our squads stand at this current moment what do you think will win and what will be the score?

All for a bit of fun :D

You can do two predictions, based on whether we are home or away for the first Premier League South Wales Derby :malky:

We will pull this thread up when the transfer window closes, providing we have not played each other, to see if you change your minds depending on signings :ayatollah:

I will go for a 1-0 City win at CCS or a 1-1 draw at the Liberty (not that I am being biased :D )

We will be home first as every derby in British football alternates on a 2 year basis of who plays at home first in the league..

In Swansea`s first 2 years in the Championship we played away first and then in the last season against them we played at home meaning we will play them at home first again next year.

With that in mind I'm going for:

Cardiff 2-2 JBs
JBs 2-1 Cardiff

Obviously may change based on comings and goings within both teams.

Swansea have played 12 games since then. Cardiff and Swansea have a similar record over their last 12 games. Swansea have amassed 12 points and we have amassed 15 points (but in the league below it must be said.

however if swansea did keep that form throughout the whole season then they would be on 38 points and still almost certain to retain their Premier league status.

As it stands now, we would get played off the park and lose by 2 home and away. But give us time and ask us in September.

Both 2-1 victories.

I will never ever predict the Jacks to beat us even if Ronaldo, Messi etc playing for them. :D :D

With current squads, my head says
At CCS 1-1
At Liberty 2-1 to the Jacks.

but my heart says
At CCS 3-1 to us :ayatollah:
At The Liberty 2-1 to us :ayatollah:

Right now with current form right now. Wed both probably get draws.

Swansea have 1 win, 2 draws and 5 loses and have scored 5 goals in 8 games and 2 clean sheets in 8.

We've got 2 wins in 8, 1 loss and 5 draws. Scoring 10 goals with 4 clean sheets.

Neither doing great.

But neither have had much to play for. Cardiff were ensuring they got the final few points on the tableto get over the line. Swansea have nowt to play for, ont go down and have Europe to prepare for.
