I think that's key in reaching any kind of compromise with Tan. I feel those idiots who boo him and send him abusive emails have the opposite effect. Well done to Annis for being straight but polite, Tan will listen in this manner but he won't listen to the neanderthals who abuse him.

Interesting update, Sounds like Vincent Tan is here for the long term not for a quick buck. Nice to hear he has another side of him. Regarding the kit I'm glad we'll retain our blue kit in some kind of form. I'd rather the black kit than a yellow kit if I'm honest I like this seasons black kit it looks tidy

Maybe once a deal is done with tan/sam who knows what the future could hold, although we wouldnt be liverpool would we just go up a notch on the wealth of money behind the club, maybe this was the plan all along, the plot thickens

I just hope this all red kit doesn't look as cheap as this seasons kit.

Problem is the big red shield does not match on a blue shirt. I'm hoping they found a way to make it blend.

very enjoyable morning, i must say, very enlightening too
coud not believe how open and free to talk vince was, even to the point of his jokes and quick wittedness.
it wasnt like being with such an influential person
to the point of watching the one game, standing between two matches where he tapped my sholder to becon me to turn and watch one lad about to score when i was watching the other match behind me.
as carl has said, when i asked if he was going home or if he was here till after hull and going up there, his tone and excitement about the importance of that match for hull and watford, explaining to simon the points and possible outcomes depending on results even down to the goal difference, i was impressed.
gutted about the lack of away tour this year apart from switzerland, but that gives us all some time to save for a big one next year

i have posted today, he will never get me wearing anything with that badge on, but he has gone up in my estimations.

had to laugh at annis, being told off by sam, just after he made his point to vince about the colour with sam saying "annis this is not the time" LOL
but again as carl said this comment must have hit home, because as we walked side by side chatting with him, vince turned to annis and said "what can we do about this colour problem then"

Too right, all red!!!!! had my head in my hands when I read that, now we will look even more like our national side. The Cardiff City BLUEbirds that we have all grown up with and fell in love with is gone while under VTs regime, and that looks like it could be a long one, and whoever takes over will probably then keep us red too. I probably would have asked the same questions as Annis to him, I have battled reluctantly to move with this mans vision whilst still supporting our team, its taken me a year to say that I can live with it no doubt buoyed by the exciting times ahead when next season starts and that is down to this mans money, for which I am grateful. He does seem like a really nice chap, naieve about football and its identity but seems determined to make us a big name in football, something i have always dreamed of. So I guess today, after a banging night on the canton mile last night, I have finally accepted that we are now red and will move with and not against Tans vision and momentum, I will still wear my blue to every game, as I am sure a lot of us will, just dissapointed that there is no compromise on a red with blue kit. I also welcome Sam back despite his mistakes, he kick started this ride.

all the positives in this thread and all most people are concentrating on is the red sorts, it really does show our fans only ever see the worst ffs
