I have accepted it for the good of the club but joined in after VT came on the mic pissed trying to ram red is lucky down our throats, I was having a great night up until that point

The key point however is that
without VT, there would have have no promotion party for anyone to enjoy.
I fully respect the fans who have decided to stay away because of the change of colour as they are consistent.
I would even respect fans if they had made a protest by deciding not to celebrate the promotion because it had been done with VT's money and in the colour red. (Either decided in droves not to turn up yesterday or deliberatly not celebrated the promotion).
What I personally have no respect for are the fans who are happy to jump on VT's bandwagon for all the great things he brings, but then want to chant against him and the colour
at the same time.
By all means chant against him & the colour, but don't then celebrate the success he's brought, as that is pure hypocrisy

Well said,I like all city fans would rather be Blue but we are not no more. Thanks to Tans investment the club is progressing up not down like Portsmouth, the man deserves more respect and I'm pretty sure he knows the fans feelings on the colour change. As for the chanting we'll always be Blue,I started like many others singing Jack bastards we're coming for you.

To some it would be hypocritical if it suites there agenda. I wonder if the same people would be calling if we had not got promoted. Infact I wonder if they would actually join in if this turned out to be a relegation.

I respect consistency, and it just seems hypocritical to me to be having a party about our success whilst at the same time decrying the means by which we've achieved it.
If people take the "rather be blue in league 2" position, that's fine, and something I fully respect. I also think its fine to carry on attending the club to fight for the blue back from the inside.
What I object to however is people jumping on VT's bandwagon for all the good it's brought, whilst at the same time decrying the rebrand, without which no success would have been achieved.
To me, that's like having the penny and the bun, and not something that I could do if I had taken that stance myself.
It's a free world though, and people are allowed to act in that way if they feel able to - just a bit disappointing, as far as I am concerned. C'est la vie.
