Agreed but why would Tan pay sam off ?
It was said by many on here VT had him by the bollocks and didnt have to pay him a penny?
We then had the forensic accountant thing that was looking for loopholes that was never there?
Now all of a sudden HES A GUEST OF HONOR which tells everyone there was a case of him having to be paid, only now it will cost more than last time or some other deal.

As long as its sorted we can all move on

We were 15 mins from administration but we never entered admin.

If SH comes back apologises for his mistakes and says he was wrong and wants to work with the fans then maybe he deserves a 2nd chance.

I would rather SH come back and apologise, be the forefront of communication with the fans as he was good in that aspect and also have the Langston issue resolved.

Then Tan can just sit in his office sorting out monetary affairs (better than Hammam) and we've got the best of both worlds.

Vincent Tan is a shrewd businessman and knows how to properly handle cash.
Sam Hammam loves the fans passion, fired us up against Leeds and wants to be adored.

If Hammam is willing to admit he got things wrong during his time here and the set up is right we'd be foolish not to give him a 2nd chance. Vincent Tans weakness is Hammam's strength, Hammam's weakness is Tan's strength. Together if they work as a cohesive unit this could be very good times for City.

Spot on. It makes sense Gonzo. Im not Hammam's biggest fan but we need to be real. Hes owed money and he knows how to work with the fans. Tan has not got a clue in that respect. Asking Tan to communicate with the fans is like asking swansealad69 to teach English. Its never going to work.

Vincent Tans strength is controlling money. Hammam's strength is getting the fans fired up and working with them. Together they could be great in my opinion. We could get a good well balanced board, the Langston debt sorted, possibly the stadium naming rights issue resolved in time for Premier League football and therefore we'd be more appealing to other investors with debt issues resolved.

This is brilliant news, I usually leave the posts to everyone else and love reading all posts but this time I needed to share my joy by the news of Sam being invited back as a guest to our stadium for the Bolton game. You can slate me all you like I don`t care because I wont respond anyway lol but it`s about time Sam was invited back by Tan and I for one would welcome him back into the Club and given some sort of role. Sam is getting older as we all are and I think it would be fitting for him to have some sort of role within the Club he loves. Welcome home Sam !!!!!

Sounds like they are on good terms. Let's hope everything can get sorted and the club have one of they best seasons

Maybe its a shambles in your opinion but none of us would have an opinion about any of this if NONE of them even come about to the club, such is life my friend is that we would still be rotting at the bottom end of div two if not worse who knows, like i've said everyones played there part for the dream to be delivered which always cost money in football to progress
