Our support isn't THAT great, I don't know why people are expecting us to sell out all the time.
I'll be there though and I can't wait, not just for the game but for the whole day.

exactly, their loss!

I'm going up by the CCSC and I think we'll sell out our original allocation surely, in 10/11 we took loads to Burnley, knowing we couldn't get automatic promotion. Of course there will be a lot of interest for the bigger games next season like Man United/Man City but people will pay this sort of money to see the bigger teams and expect to be treated better. I don't see why we have to sell out allocations just because we've won the league and all that, I understand completely if people don't go to Hull away, the prices are high and most have been to Hull. I'll go and I'll enjoy it though just older fans went for the day out, nowadays it's mostly all about the football itself

Since March i have spent nearly 2000 grand
On season tickets and sheffield wednesday and watford away, i got a summer holiday to pay for aswell, pardon me if i dont go to Hull for a nothing
(to us) game.
Would i have gone if it was a promotion clincher, of course i would have but its not so you prioritise.
Makes me laugh when people whos kids have flown
The nest or are wealthy post dribble like this.
Some people pick and chose to meet their needs wants, if we could all afford it we would all go every week but life dont work like that for everyobe sorry get over it

Had a ticket for Burnley but fell ill on Friday night.
Will be at Hull - illness permitting!!

Lads if we do not sell out, what are the chances of me getting a ticket for me and my 8 year old. Will be the first away game this season and would be his first away! Will be flying from Dublin if I can get tickets.

Originally we wanted 3,500 at least, now we will struggle to sell the 2,200 tickets, already Carls coaches have gone from 3 coaches 2 coaches and a lot of fans I speak to are now doing something else that day.
Just look at Burnley away as soon we got promoted v Charlton, sales dropped, we had 1,600 tickets left and it was pay on the day.
I rem Hartlepool away in 2001, we were given 2,000 tickets approx and they reckon the demand was over 3,000, as soon as we won promotion at York away, we barely took 700 fans.
I wonder how many we will take to Man Utd, Liverpool, Everton, Man City, Spurs etc next season.
Annis, I'll be there with 3 or 4 others
Making a weekend of it

I thought you had to have gone to 2 or more aways to qualify for tickets

Would love to go as I would any game but with exams and a beast of a dissertation to write, I can't justify the time away from work. The next few weeks could well dictate the rest of my life. Then again Annis if you fancy writing me a book about 'the social and economic impact of building a new motorsport venue in a deprived area' then be my guest

There should be plenty of people on here who qualify, post a new topic asking if you can use their fan numbers. It's been done before, and I've offered my fan number this way in the past.

Is that about the one in Ebbw Vale?

The Ebbw Vale track is to be used as an example but it is about the theoretical advantages or disadvantages to the area and how similar new circuits elsewhere have benefited the local economy.

is it just me going to get tickets tomorrow morning then?
Thu Apr 25, 2013 8:19 pm
I would love to go but Carl's buses are now full (on reserves) plus I haven't been away at all this season, had to book the weekend off for Hull cause I work most weekends! Previous seasons have been to loads of aways but this season just hasn't been possible due to work.
