As for Sir Chuckles I wouldn't ban him for his negativity, even though it proves he must lead a very sad existence.

But there is a case for his constant derailing of threads, usually harping on about the rebrand, and also his constant stating of the fact that he's entitled to his opinion. We know that Chucks, you keep ramming it down our throats so there's no need to keep spouting it.

But of course, this is only my opinion.

Is the rebrand not something about Cardiff City?

Stop derailing this thread with personal insults.

Not everyone uses Facebook.

Missed the facebook & twitter thing   how about fan number or seat number, the later may introduce a little more civility in the posts.

Not everyone has STs either. It's a very elitist way of looking at it. What about the fans who can only afford to go once every so often, or the ones that live away and post here to feel "part of it" still.

I've never heard of an Internet forum demanding to know every personal detail about each member.

Very true it's a forum, why should you have to give personal details, "we are not applying for a loan". If you want to give them that is fine, if you don't so what, I have given mine but if other forum members don't want to, can't see what the problem is :ayatollah: :ayatollah:

Thread derailed.

Tony in Musselburgh,is hardly enough info to get a loan. If you can get a loan based on that info.. Them I will take a ten grand loan out now...

Seriously though, Chuckles proposal is a good one. Vetted posts and users is effectively a big step in the right direction. Although askin some one to be patient while some mods read his thoughts is not as personal as what's your name and where you from.

Either way something needs to be done... ASAP.

Agree.

Its a stupid idea.

Not sure if banning ip addresses would be an option but there must be a better way than whats being suggested here.

only a suggestion, but is there a way that when you sign up the site will send you a text message with a code to confirm yourself! it's easy enough to make up a new email account, but much harder to go and look for another mobile number that is not yours, and gain access to that number!

Just My opinion but I feel if your a member of the forum then you must declare all your information. Like correct name (not usernames) and locations in your profile.

There are not many that actually do provide the information on their respected profiles, but surely if you had to register and mandatory information had to be given then there would be less idiots on the board.

It's a football forum, not a dating agency.

Love Rodney the transvestite. ;)

you've got to be very sad to go out and stock up on sim cards just to go onto a rivals internet board! anyway, it takes more effort to get free sim cards than just make up an email whenever you want!

if someone is sad enough to troll a website they will be sad enough to take 2 mins to do that, and via your suggestion gain access to the board..so it wont actually work will it
