Which means you were impressed by the standard?

Which also means you are in for the shock of your life next season.

Why will we be shocked ?? We know its going to be a challenge but with the team spirit, the manager, new signings and the fans we could give it a good go!!

The way your talking we may aswell give up now! It seems you want Cardiff to Struggle but honestly I don't think we will!!

Show a bit of support!! And know there are no FACTS to back you up on how we will perform!! But let's support the team :ayatollah:

To be honest who really cares!! We are going up as champions!! Let's be honest the premiership hasnt been up to standard either!! The mind really boggles at some of your comments on here!! Underhand digs at our achievements. Just let it go for god sake.

It just goes to show how close the championship is and that to me is a very exciting league. Anyone can beat anyone!!

The premiership has been an excellent league. Look at the players that have come into it since last year and the only one to leave is Balotelli.

Nothing to do with having a dig, I'm Cardiff too. I'm just being honest and realistic.

bollocks! the prem as been a let down this season aswel

In what way? No player left from last year barring Balotelli and the likes of Oscar, hazard, Michu, carzola et al have joined so has certainly improved. Last year saw the European champions be English and the greatest champions battle of all time between sides packed with stars.

But at least you agree with me on the OP, which is the point after all.

it doesnt matter what players have been brought in or left, exactly that was last season all the drama happened, this season man utd have already won it and have been points clear for months, IMO the only good thing to happen in the prem this season, has been watching gareth bale.

the championship is the most competitive league in Europe...fact
paxman the most boring b*stard ...fact

Well it isn't a fact, you just made it up.

However why do people confuse competitiveness with quality. As we have seen, everyone seems just as bad as each other. That's not the sign of a quality league is it.

The most competitive championship for years. Bristols total of 41 points would have kept them up last season. Surely as a staunch Cardiff fan you must be proud of the fact we have led the league from the 24th November last year and are going to lift the championship trophy something our rivals down west never came close to

Just because it doesn't have drama? We are talking about the quality of football not how dramatic it is.

One quality player leaves, and lots of superstars brought in and as you say Gareth bakes emergence as one of the best players in the world. Man united are clear by a lot because they signed robin van Persie.

Try comparing the players who have come in against those who left Championship clubs this year...

Virtually every side got stronger, apart from perhaps Birmingham (arguably as they also signed Lovernkrands and Ambrose ).

Sides who came down didn't do veyr well, but they kept nearly all of their top players and all spent a fortune too.

Charlton won L1 by a mile last year, and both Sheff W and Hudds bought half a new side.

Lots of sides gambled due to this being the last season before 'fair play', but some didn't gell.
We brought in quality AND character, with a great manager too - that's why we have won it. Not due to any lack of quality opposition.

Ins and outs here...

http://footballleagueblog.dailymail.co. ... -2013.html

Bear in mind also that premier teams have had to trim their squads in the last 2 seasons and most of these players have dropped down into the Championship.

If anything, it's tougher than ever.

The only weakness has been the lack of a real power side who had a weak season last year and went down with a top half Premiership squad like Newcastle, but these have been pretty rare.

If you think man united were good last year then it's basically the same team with Kagawa and van Persie added.

Simple as that.

Arsenal aren't the same team as they were the ones who lost van Persie.

Chelsea are higher than they were last year, as are Liverpool, Newcastle are weaker but spurs are stronger.

Not a difficult concept.
