After a managerial change they scrape though and vow “We wont be in this position again” After a massive spend above income they again find themselves at the bottom of the table, another manager change followed by another massive spend occurs, They are still 10 points off safety with 5 games to go.
Could be worse, Fernandez and the Mittalls make Tan look like Albert Steptoe, so Well done on achieving promotion, but that’s the easy bit.
If you keep your team more or less intact, with the odd addition, that strengthens it, and keep your wages reasonable, you might do okay. But I have a feeling if we play to our potential, the double will be ours

I'll answer that one for you, we presented a different problem to most clubs due to our tactics and style of play, the passing and possession statistics for our first season were of an excellent standard, and the players improved on theyr previous year's performance, The purchase of Danny Graham and loan of Caulker, then Gylfi Siggardson in he second half of the season, improving on an already solid squad.
Cardiff's problem will be competing with clubs with much bigger budgets for the same type of player

These clubs with much bigger budgets, which clubs do you reckon, we are competing in the market with?

But that would mean Liverpool are the top club in England right now? No, things change. It's where you are now, not what happened decades ago.
