We should go for these
a.Matthews
rambo
jon williams
benteke if villa go down
chris brunt (out of contract)
Mladen Petric ( out of contract)
BREDE HANGELAND (out of contract)
would leave us with a pretty decent team if we could get them.

What about Jay Bothroyd

As QPR are coming down i would seriously consider putting in an enquiry for Taraabt.
There is no chance in getting Ramsey or Hangeland.

I get the impression Tarabt is not Malky's kind of player?

I have no doubt that MM will have a list of targets and I think he will be on the case chasing those targets very quickly.
I can see a lot of activity at CCS this summer because he has to put in place and name a squad of 25 players by the end of August. A maximum of 17 players can be "overseas" and the remainder must be "Home Grown" or trained by club affiliated to either The FA or FAW. Under 21 players are not counted in the 25 and can be played at any time.
We are fine with "Home Grown" players as Lewis, Connelly, Hudson, Turner, Taylor, Lappin, Whittingham, Noone, Bellamy, Maynard and Frasier. We also have Mutch, Mason, Ralls, Harris, Nugent, Parrish so plenty of home grown players.
The question is I think where will MM be looking for new recruits as last summer he showed he has no problem going worldwide. Exciting few months I fancy and with the money on offer in the PL i can see him taking the squad right up to the 25 allowable over 21 players.

At a Q&A 2 months ago, Malky said that they already had 2 lists of players drawn up, one if we are promoted and one if we stay in the Championship. Malky is nothing, if not impeccably prepared.

Maybe he's not, but now we're up can we be THAT fussy over the players we bring in. All the prem players are tarts! its a fact. Malky is going to have to take a few chances if we're going to suceed in this league.

Our defenders are I think good, but Gayle from Posh took them apart
Wed Apr 17, 2013 3:26 pm
What about Scott Sinclair?????
Wed Apr 17, 2013 3:47 pm
It will probably be Barnett but I personally would love to see the likes Le Fondre / Tom Ince / Nathan Redmond here next season! Now ya gonna believe us!!!!

Wilfred Bony is the best suggestion on here. Beast of a player
Wed Apr 17, 2013 10:15 pm
Nick Powell on loan from united and Kyle Naughton on a permanent deal
Wed Apr 17, 2013 11:47 pm
Barnett first, anyone reckon we'll see Kerim Frei again? i know he only had three games with us but i thought he looked impressive, And Malky seemed to rate him.

Ahem I've been harping on about Rhodes way before he signed for HMS Blackburn.

Thomas Ince maybe? (Not as a first signing but a consideration?)
Thu Apr 18, 2013 12:03 pm
We will get priced out of Williams Ince etc, but I think we could land le fondre, wouldn't mind seeing hooper from Celtic up top for us but again would get priced out! Jamie makie good hard working striker who Malky might look to, also he is Scottish! Rhodes will cost too much! Glenn Murray could be worth a gamble! Seen him a few times and has impressed each time.

Kim Jong Un - Great relationship with Kimbo and amazing team talk
Thu Apr 18, 2013 1:27 pm
Scott Dann or Charlie Austin or perhaps a cheeky bid for Ramsey?

Being 'THAT' fussy has got us where we are though, if you listen to any interview with the players or Malky they always say about how the group are such a tight knit group with no egos, I think it's essential that Malky keeps it that way and adds players with a like minded team ethic and more quality, fortunately for us Malkys whole ethos is focused on this, the mans a legend.
