Long way to catch swansea up I said.

It's pretty obvious isn't it? They have just won a major trophy, sat in the top 10 and qualified for Europe.

Pretty self explanatory really.

Well we're in the same league now, we'll see who's the better team at the end of next season, simple! theres no catching up needed

If you believe that then we have caugh't man united up too

who ever finishes in the highest position next season will be the better side IMO, so we'll just have to see..

Who cares what Poxman and Tragic Flaps thinks? They would not give us any credit whatever we achieved.
But they will be wasting their time over the next few months as they will be swept away by a tide of optimism and euphoria.

No snide remarks from me. I'm simply making the point we still have some way to catch them, this is just an obvious reality, how can you make a case for anything otherwise?

No but you think we are equal to man united until the end of next season where it can be proved.

Your insinuation of me is just conjecture I'm afraid, but what can't be argued is that your "opinion" is moronic. Bit like saying you can't tell who's better, van Persie or helge son because we don't know who will score the most next season

Have a word

please tell me where ive mentiond man utd? IMO who ever finishes the the highest in the prem next season is the better side at present! why is that moronic? the last few times we've played swansea we've won the same amount of games, swansea are not a man utd and are not world class! if we finish 8th and they finish 16th IMO we're the better side

Same for Liverpool too then I guess

That's like saying Swansea are level pegging with Barca because if they win the champions league in a few years they will be a better side

Swansea have had two consecutive finished in and around the top 10, won a major trophy and qualified for Europe. Yet you think we have pulled level with them based on things that MAY happen, but according to the odds and history books, probably won't.

You aren't making sense,

All im saying if we finish higher than you next season we'll be the better side, we're playing the same teams and the same amount of times, so that should judge on who's the better side?

Re: Congratulations redbirds.

Wed Apr 17, 2013 8:07 pm

Last season Newcastle finished 5th, qualifying for Europe. This year they've flirted with relegation. Every season is a clean sheet with past performances having no bearing whatsoever.

Thats not what you said at all.

If that is what you said then you would have just accepted my view that we have some catching up to do. They finished higher than us this year, won a major trophy and are in Europe. Simple.
