By that notion, you'd be totally happy to see Guys buys tickets this season wearing Leeds tops, or Hull tops?

I never said any such thing, I only pointed out that it is impossible to stop someone from purchasing a ticket if they have the ready cash, no matter what their previous allegiance or attendance records were like. When tickets go on 'general sale' they are sold to anyone who can afford them and my own personal feelings (or yours for that matter) count for nothing.

I wouldn't disagree with the sentiment but as the tickets are on general sale they have every right to buy one.

It happened and we all know it. TBH I don't know how they had the nerve to even buy a ticket through our TO knowing they were going to support Liverpool. That said a mate of mine whose Mrs (lovely lady BTW) is an ardent Liverpool fan but he refused to get her a ticket when she asked

So there are fans out there with principles :ayatollah:

WHAT HAPPENS IF WE STAY IN THE PREMIER LEAGUE FOR NUMEROUS YEARS AND THESE FANS BECOME LOYAL FANS WHO GET ADDICTED TO GOING DOWN THE CITY ON THE WEEKEND? IF YOU SEE SOMEONE CHEERING A GOAL IN THE HOME END OR IN A LIVERPOOL TOP ETC. JUST GET THEM EJECTED OR BANNED. SIMPLE. AS FAR AS IM CONCERNED WEARING AN OPPOSING TEAMS TOP OR CELEBRATING A GOAL IN THE HOME END IS PROVOCATIVE BEHAVIOUR AND SHOULD BE PUNISHABLE BY BAN.

I am with my old nemesis Craig CCFC on this, any fan worth their salts would have got a ticket by now, and already have a season ticket for next season in the bag.

Its the same old shit every time we get to Wembley "I was there in the 80's and 90's" and I deserve a ticket before these plastics, johhnyy come latelys.etc."

Nevermind the fact you havent been to a game for seven f*cking years

You swear we had 20,000 regular fans back in the 80's and 90's the amount of people who clam this

I agree. I can't afford a season ticket but go to games when I have the time and money. I am forever looking up season ticket prices to see if I can afford it or our fixtures to see what games I can go to and I do this well in advance just out of passion to come and see the City.

I was looking up Barnsley in advance of Saturday knowing that I really wanted to be there when we were promoted and got tickets as soon as I got home Saturday Night when there were still plenty left.

If you really care about going, and can go, these are things you do.

It's that sort of person that means that some of the "proper" fans will miss out, should we obtain promotion to the premiership. That's what annoys me about it.

The proper fans should have their tickets by now

Don't agree there, some fans might not know if they can have time off work very late

The game is tomorrow evening, even if my work told me i couldnt have it off i would go sick

Maybe for some, that isn't possible?

I notice you ignored my post again - what about those who live away & can only make certain games? Those who work on Tuesday nights?

Those who cannot afford to go to all games?

I havent ignored your posts, ive been in a meeting.

As for "those who work tuesday nights" I work permanent nights and as soon as the fixture list is released I book all midweek games off. Nobody would stop me going tomorrow night, if work said no, then im afraid i dont go to work......they cant just sack you for being absent once.

I was on about you ignoring mine and replying to others.

As for what you say, fair enough - but some simply do not have that option.

So annoying when old fans moan about newer fans getting tickets, oh I was at Halifax away in 88, so say some of these old fans haven't been down there at all this season, what makes them more inclined to let's say someone whose very young so has a lot more potential to become a fan and put more of their money into the club?

Pretty sure this was about Fans of other clubs getting tickets, not old vs new.

You have to accept that this is how the club grows. The more Liverpool, Man U fans that change to Cardiff the better.

Some will, some wont. The fact is our fan base will grow with success. The new fans have to come from somewhere and we should welcome them.

There is no reason to be surprised.

The club is being fair. Tickets have been out since February for games in March/April and people had plenty of time to weigh their options up on deciding games.
