The most dirty team I've seen for a long time, you expect a hard game but Forest were stinking dirty.
Your big centre backs could not cope with HH and let's be honest you were lucky to end with 10 men.

Forrest have down well to get themselves into a position that they are currently in.
The game wasn't defined by the red card. But it did effect the trees today.
BD won't be to disheartened to face his first defeat away to the champions elect, when you consider only 2 sides have won here all season.
Think Bolton Will win play offs though. They have improved since (Not Scared) DF took over.

You'll see no prema donnas signings aka QPR.
Thought you set your stall out with some early challenges / yellows. I think that influenced the ref for the sending off.
We were the better side for the first 20 minutes but you were starting to get into the game before we scored. After that I thought it was a done deal.

Scabby rat.....

Give the lad a break, he probably wasn't even born in the miners strike.
I think you could well go up in the play offs mate, i thought you look very dangerous (until the sending off) around the edge of our box. You have players who can score & create when you are in dangerous positions. I will say though that i thought we looked even more dangerous than you and the game was shaping up to be a cracker. I suppose it was a shame for the neutral but i'm not a neutral so i was very happy Henderson got sent off.
We've had some decisions go against us lately so we were due a break.
All the best for the rest of the season mate, rather you than us this year, i genuinely believe i couldnt cope with another year of the play offs this season!

Thanks to the 3 that voted for Forest to win the play-offs!
My main point though is what did you think to the referee's performance? To me, he seemed a bit inconsistent. Do you think that Henderson deserved his red card (I dont) Also did you see the incident just before, with Greg Halford going down in your box, after a corner from us? He seemed to get an arm in the face, similar to the Henderson 'foul' but it wasn't on FLS so not sure. And Greg Halford getting stretchered off from a foot in the face, what did you think to that 'challenge'
Personally felt he had a lot of "key decisions incorrect" the so called elbows in the face were very soft... And a red well I found it funny for us due to the fact I personally feel that mutch was fouled minutes before after looking at the replays. Good luck in the play offs.

Elbow to the face- sending off, both managers agree. The rules are clear.
Rudi's kick in Halford's face shouldn't even have been a free kick. Halford was bending over, Rudi's foot was no more than waist height.
As for Halfordgoing down in the box- well that was in front of the Canton and they seemed distinctly unimpressed.
What about the foul on Mutch after about 30 mins which looked a clear penalty ?

I am glad we had an elite ref yesterday. He tried to let the game flow, but Forest were not messing around, not dirty but intent on dishing it out, this must have influenced his decision in the sending off.
As play off veterans it is important to have juice left in the tank. There does not appear to be a top 2/3 team who have had a wobble and drooped into the playoffs who are a class ahead of the others (West ham last year).
Watford & Palace will be running on fumes. That leaves Brighton, Forest or Bolton.
I may have a few quid on Bolton.

I was impressed by forest they came and tried to play proper football!! Keeping it on the ground with fluid passing!!
Suppose I was relieved when your man got sent off

Harsh sending off but as others have said your players were making it easy for the ref to dish out yellow cards. I was disappointed in Forest tbh,, even before the sending off you were restricted to pot shots at goal from 30 yards.
Good luck for the play offs but its a lottery and I'm so glad we dont have to go through that this year

1984-85 sweet revenge, hope you come 7th.

Halfords injury was unlucky, took more of a knee then the foot to the head. Wasn't as if Gestede had a high foot. Not a red card, but regarding Halford going down in the first half, looking at Taylor's reaction, he felt as if Halford was making the most out of nothing. Look at Helguson, got elbowed in the face but didnt just lie on the floor for ages, got straight up

It was weird to hear your fans cheering on "the reds" when you were playing in blue and our boys cheering on "the blues" when we were playing in red!
At the time I thought it was a clear red card. However, having seen the Football League Show last night, it was a bit harsh and no more than a yellow.
Bolton are the form team with the best set of players, and are favourites from the playoffs for me.

Couldn't give a monkeys if forest to up or not.
Going by the rules of the game, it's a red card. Simple.
Sun Apr 14, 2013 11:51 am
Some what even till the Red, which at first looked a Red. Watched slow mo and its clearly an accident, which should of been a yellow if the ref used his head a bit.
Gest was never a red, guy stooped down to header the ball as Gest tried to kick it

Bit unfair with the sending off, a booking would have been fair, that said your team did put about a bit and I think we would still have beaten you either way, you will be in the play offs and you will have good chance however having been there our selve so many times best of luck because luck will come into it.
