Well my first game I sat a row behind Dai the nut job with my dad. It was 1994 and we lost 7-2 to Cambridge Utd in front of 2,500...and I loved every minute. Went from there....

I loved trips to Hartlepool like Liverpudlians love Thatcher. I remember my uncle telling me ' lets go, it'll be good, its by the coast and it will be a great day out'. It was freezing cold, raining, boring old place and void of any decent life. It was like Tremorfa expanded. :old:

My step father wouldn't let me go to that game, he told my mum there would be trouble, I had a proper hissy fit, the c**t.

Me. And I've got to say they were the best days for supporting City. I was in my late teens/early twenties so had a right laugh. Going to places like Bury and Scarborough in the back of a van.
No all ticket games, pay on the day, cheap trains.........it was utter madness. I loved it. :ayatollah:
The football was horrific at times but we didnt care. Amazing times.

earliest I can remember is when the my dad took me and my sister to the lower grandstand at ninian park, I don't know if that was the family bit at the time ? I remember all the old teams like Halifax town, Macclesfield, barnet, Rochdale etc loved every minute of it, must of been from 1994 onwards ?

I was. First game v Plymouth 1994 with a crowd of about 5,000. I'd quite happily go back to them days for our blue kit back.

My first season was 98-99 I believe. I was only 8 at the time. Was lucky enough to see us get promoted in that first season though. Still, we were relegated the next season. So I would say I was, although I wasn't there when we were at our crappest (but that is due to my age more than anything else).

I was there when we were in division 4, but it was not always crap. A promotion season is a promotion season. Everything in its time.

Been going since 73 but had a break from Saturday games for 3 years because of work from 95 to 98.
Most shit game ever had to be a Friday night 0-0 bore draw against Chester, raining and freesing cold, and the football was not worth watching - some time late 80's I think. The cold, wet bleakness of a mostly empty NP is etched on my soul ! :)

When you think of nights like that it does make you appreciate where we are today. :old:

Me, sir! Me, sir! I was there, sir! :ayatollah:

First game 1968 (aged 6) and been going ever since in all divisions come rain or shine ;) :ayatollah:

Favourite moment? Hard to say, but the play-off win vs QPR in our own city is amongst them, as was that Leeds game and the John Buchanan winner when Wrexham came back from 2-0 down in injury time only for 'The Poor man's Peter Lorimer' to run from halfway and hammer an unstoppable shot into the net for the winner :notworthy:

Worst moment? Possibly the play-off final vs Blackpool (more so than the FA Cup Final defeat) but to many to count to be honest but I'm still here! :laughing6: :laughing6:

I haven't really had a choice as my first game was in 2005 when I was 10 so all I've seen is Championship football.

As you've said before it's not longevity, JonCCFC, and no one can say you haven't been a good and loyal supporter if you started when you were 10 years old ;)

Ultimately, none of us chose when we were born but we CAN choose to be Cardiff City FC fans come rain or shine :ayatollah: :ayatollah:

We won't always be blue unless we fight for it. telling yourself 'we'll always be blue' is a lie, It might ease the guilt but nothing will change unless we do something instead of lying to ourselves.
