I don't think the drum was the issue, it was the drummer !!! Not a job for a plucky amateur, needs to have a some talent or training.

The last thing we want is a tuneless drum pounding out tuneless sounds, the atmosphere comes from the pitch, and lets be honest, even last night the football was sometimes boring, when the football is played at pace the crowd get behind the team, like last night, the trouble is it doesn't last, the city seem to go into a shell and just want to defend, and that kills the atmosphere. Malky has to get the team in first gear from the off, and over run sides so they can't come back at as happened last night, ain't got nothing to do with a drum.

That's not a bad call at all. The Canton gets going but I'm thinking that as the FS is next to the away it may well be worth a go. I'd rather an atmosphere that doesn't require anything like this but its worth a try. I also read this week that Manure have engaged an acoustics expert to help with their problem.
