Mediocre means not very good. That would also be incorrect.

They are both mid range clubs for the league they are in, 9th out of 20 is better than average but by no stretch of the imagination could they be described as top sides.

My mistake as what i meant to say is their current form is shit. 5 losses out of their last 7 games.
Swansea can't buy a win!!!!!!

I don't understand. What has Swansea's form got to do with Udinese?

I thought your shift as a Security Man finished about now.
;)

Oh, it has finished now and you're either driving home or you've gone to bed.

The way I see it is, if you can average 12 points from every block of 10 games you will stay in this league. You might get a purple patch which could be vital come May, but the long unbeaten runs are rare outside the top 6.

Drawing games (especially away from home) is no disaster, it does more good than bad, all about keeping the points total ticking over. Keeping out of that bottom 8 around christmas is also a good sign, as it's easy to get sucked into the bottom 5 at the business end of the season.

One thing Malky will have to do is rotate players. It's a demanding league and if one or two players are not 100% you do not risk them as they get found out quickly, especially with the pace teams have at this level. That's where Malky will earn his corn, how he keeps players fresh and above all happy to wear the shirt. It's a squad mentality he has to drum in and not about the first 11.

As for us, well I guess the final and getting safety has bookended our season, the last few games since the final have been up and down - Newcastle a scrappy win, WBA - very unlucky with the disallowed goal, Arsenal - outplayed us, Spurs -2 great goals even though they hung on for dear life 2nd half, Norwich - scrappy and a fair result although fatty Holt should have walked for that stamp on Chico Flores.

Where do you think you will strengthen and who do you think he will leave go? Personally I think you need another forward, maybe a proven one from a top euro league (a Michu type) and a Britton type in front of the back 4 to break up play.

Survival will be 1st priority-as you lot found out last season some players fit in really well and do better than expected whereas others aren't good enough and need shipping out. Kev McNaughton whom i love to bits for sheer effort and bollox probably needs to go along with Gestede, Kiss, Turner and Joe Lewis. Not convinced by Craig Conway as a top flight player either. We need to get there 1st before we start getting excited!

If we go up we need a central defender, right back, creative midfielder, a pacy right winger and target man plus a decent back up keeper.

Agree that Holt should have gone but Flores was lucky to stay on for kicking out.
