It's a free country and if people want to protest they can.

However, if protesters wish to make an impact then they have to learn to organise properly and get (in this case) the fan base of Cardiff City behind them.

That's why I keep saying now is not the time. If I was a raving pro-blue militant fanatic I would learn to keep my powder dry and have a little patience and pick the right time. Do it that way and one day you will all get your reward.

Please tell me where I've "bitched" about people not doing anything about the rebrand?

you haven't stopped! and for someone who hates the re-brand so much couldn't even be bothered to turn up to a protest?

Feel free to quote me :ayatollah:

I didn't turn up to a poorly organized protest. There's a difference.

no thanks my name aint sad act

theres no difference, you knew the time and where it was taking place, if you were so much against the re-brand you would of shown up regardless of how 'organized' the protest was

I heard that the organiser is only 16 so may explain the youth element involved. Not criticising I hasten to add.

Ahh, so you can't prove it. :thumbright:

No, it does make a difference. If it was organized, promoted and run properly then thousands would've turned up. I'm wise and I knew there wouldn't be enough people there to make a difference.

You, on the other hand, just snipe and bitch about every single thing they do on here. :sleepy2:

I am fairly neutral on this Jon but how do you know it wasn't organized properly if you didn't go?,There was a time a place and a day set all you had to do was turn up and please don't give me the "it was organized by 16 year olds" because that is ageism, there are many bright 16 year olds capable of achieving more than most 30 or 40 year olds stop making excuses and admit you couldn't be bothered but you'll keep moaning about it.

How do I know? Because of all the people, including those who took part, saying how disappointing and embarrassing it was. I knew before-hand that it was going to be pointless as I was smart enough to know that it wasn't going to be a success and I was proved to be right. If it was well organized it would've had my full support, but it was far from organized. I said when the initial idea was advertised that I would take part in the march, but the organizers did nothing other than post on Facebook to promote the march, and it turned out to be about 50 people (mainly kids) walking to the stadium and singing songs so I clearly made the right decision. I haven't even mentioned the average age of the group, age wasn't the issue, it was just poorly run and everyone knows it. And just so you know, I'm 18.

But I don't care what time in the season it is, we need to stand up to the rebrand and protest. Some people are saying "wait til the end of the season", but if we get promoted the red will be worn more and more by the plastics who turn up for the good times. I know you and a lot of others are saying that we should've stood up to it a long time ago, and I agree, but it's never too late to try.

I do want this club to succeed, but our traditions come first for me. It makes me sick that some foreigner has taken that away from us because he likes the colour red and he doesn't care what we the fans think. We shouldn't go out without a fight.

now tell me you weren't full of it? its in black and white that you were all for protesting and making a stand!
why didn't you turn up again? pure excuse

In fairness Jon makes no reference to attending a march organised by a group of Facebook youngesters as part of 'standing up' to the rebrand. I don't actually agree with his view (on the rebrand) but it is perfectly consistant for him to be against the rebrand but feel that the march organised on Saturday was not the way to do it.

TBH I think the way to are trying to belittle him is awful and I fail to understand what you get out of it.
