It was okay in the terrace but on the pitch is pointless, you don't see it done on the pitch in Europe.

Actually it notoriously happens a lot in Bundesliga/Serie A and Turkish games. Fans will chuck flares on the pitch in celebration of a goal. No one get's hurt.

Wolves done it at posh aswell, it's just a bit of fun.

My all time favourite, has gotta be Eskisehirspor protesting the FA ban on flares by using a massive "Troll Face" banner and lighting flares under it.

I don't understand why people are getting so worked up about it, aslong as its controlled and no one gets hurt by it, it's just a little bit of fun?

I have seen it on the pitch often in Europe but it doesn't do much harm just builds a reputation for us I guess.

Bit dull this seems to me on too accounts one culprit will probably get banned and when one was thrown it hit the advertising hoardings hanging from the stand roof and just dropped onto the fan's heads below, they looked quite heavy to.

He will get prison too, 2 chelsea fans went to prison for just bringing one into the liberty, and not even letting it off.

I was in the seated area and there were OB videoing everything going on in the standing end so I would imagine the culprit(s) will get sorted out
