I have only ever supported Cardiff city.

I cannot speak for all of the 75% you mention, but I would consider myself to be a reluctant member of the 75% therefore making you statement/claim slightly unfounded.

Sad thing is, if this ever took off and that's a big if, but if it did over time I could actually see a few city heads adopting FC Cardiff as a side order if you will.

Plastics like Barnett and co have gone quiet on the idea now they have been told they can only play in the welsh leagues! Unbelieveable hypocrisy shown by all.

We might play you in a friendly in 20 years time but other than that your biggest derby will be Ton Pentre and Cwmbran.

Ton Pentre are a well established Welsh League club, but even they have failed, or declined, promotion to the (much derided) Welsh Premier League. The cost of upgrading their facilities is just too much. Plus travel to places like Bangor or Connah's Quay, often midweek, is too difficult. Clubs like Cwmbran, Pentwyn Dynamoes, and Grange Quins (now Cardiff Bay Quins?) have had varying degrees of success in the Welsh League/ WPL. The idea that a completely new club can, somehow, fly up the leagues is pure fantasy. Remember Inter Cable-Tel, later Inter Cardiff? They played at the old Leckwith stadium, but without sponsorship, folded. They then merged with UWIC, and even with all their facilities, are not up to WPL levels. As for this new parks side challenging CCFC, well, enough said. By all means enjoy your football, lads, but give us a break.

I would rather them be in the Welsh leagues. If they are in the English system I wont support them or follow them. There is only one Cardiff team in the English system for me and that Cardiff team has earned the right through years of hard grafting to ply its trade there.

Ask yourself the question... Why do the new team want to play in the English system? Success and more monetary gain. In that respect how are they any different from the rest of our current fan base? To put it simply they're not. The English system should not be the be all and end all of it.
