Thats my view on the others who do it aswell :thumbright:

I'm not renewing. You think I have financial problems then?

1. you havent exactly kept that to yourself
2. I didnt say financial problems I said reasons-i.e. 300ish quid is a lot for anyone to pay for something you dont feel passionate for
3. buying a ST then openly threatening to get rid at a time when little has changed in terms of red development suggests an attention seeking ploy. Like I said, he wont get rid of it and if he does he would severely regret it. Respect on this forum would last about a week and after that he would be laughed at. This is very different from simply not renewing which is passive

reality is everyone involved with cardiff city want to enjoy at least a season in the premier league therefore save all the shit chat for next season...
Of

Tbh I feel a few people have been influenced on here to either not renew or ask for a refund.

I've had a belly full of it hence why I am not renewing but my advice to anyone else is if they have the slightest doubt then renew.

People have been stopping going down the City as far back as I can remember, for all sorts of reasons. 'That's it! They have sold Toshack, no ambition, I'll never go again'. And so on. Usually, they start going again, at some point. Nothing new under the sun. Only difference is that we have got messageboards now, so everybody gets to hear about it!

Maybe the o.p was hoping that maybe we could talk him round and encourage him to stick with it rather than rip him.

If he does not want to go any more, then that's up to him. On the whole, especially on away trips, we do stick together. But save us the melodrama! Just phone the ticket office if you want information. If it's 11.30pm, then wait until the morning. They open at 9am. If he want's counselling, then go and see a shrink.

For the record.

I tried to cancel mine the other day, I took it out with Zebra at the start of March and one payment has gone out.

I spoke to Zebra who said that canceling was not a problem to them just needed to sort it out with Cardiff City who would then return the money (zebra pay Cardiff the money up front) and then re-sell the seat, was told from Zebra that I would get my first installment back minus the £20 set up fee which is fair enough.

Rang Cardiff City who wouldn't do it, I explained the whole situation to them and how they wouldn't lose out as they could sell the seat back to someone on the waiting list but they wouldn't do it. The only thing they said I could do which is now a possibility is to change the name and then sell it on.

I found this very bizzare but this is what happened.

That is bizzare.

Thought the ticket was not transferrable?

As a matter of interest do you get the price freeze? Just wondering as it would be even stranger as the club could sell the seat at a higher price to someone on the waiting list.

Yes mate, I got the prize freeze aswell, Its nothing to do with the re-brand either just going to be moving abroad in November.

I may well give them another call next week as I wasn't overly happy with the girl I spoke to. I think she may have just wanted to end the call and has given me wrong information.

Think you can do it in certain circumstances mate, ie a death, moving abroad etc. Going to ring them again though as I said to the fella below.

I don't need anyone to talk me around it, there's just a few reasons why I'm thinking about not renewing. The rebrand being one if them, the whole match day experience being another. The whole day isn't as good as it was any more, although that's not a huge point in my choice. I won't go into all the other reasons :thumbright:

I'm the one who's supposed to be a "little boy", not you. Now grow up, I was asking a genuine question and never said I was definitely cancelling it. I've just been thinking about it.
But if this is how City's fan base is seen these days, I'm not sure i want to be a part of anything. No wonder every fucker hates us

Is there any way I can get a refund on my ST? Bought it on the day they were released online, having second thoughts now..

Come clean? Are you accusing me of being a Jack? If so, you're miles off mate, I'd never be associated with them.

No Jack is reference to your Handle.
(That means your name In case you didn't know.)

You have lied to seek attention in doing so caused people to have pointless debates.

That's what you need to come clean about.

No, I asked a genuine question about is it possible to get my ST refunded. I was met with a load of abuse and ripped apart by people who support the same club as me. Probably some of them have been going for less time than me as we'll. I'm sure there's a few post-cup final fans here..

Bollox mate . You put a post up only hours after the Red seat debacle which caused unnecessary uproar stating you want to know how to cancel your season ticket.

Then hours after that has caused further anomosity between fans you post
And I quote "I don't need anyone to talk me around it, there's just a few reasons why I'm thinking about not renewing".

Which would indicate that you DO NOT have a ST.

Re: Cancelling my season ticket?

Thu Mar 28, 2013 9:14 pm

Good Luck CantonJack.

I respect your decision.
I agonised about renewing and renewed. Been supporting city
Nearly 30 years since I first went down as a 12 year old with my mates.

My biggest problem other than red is the sterile atmosphere and
Match day experience.

But I think its up to us as fans to do something about it rather than moan about it.

Tan will meddle - just like all the others.
They can come and go.
CCFC Bluebirds will always be there.

CCFC may even play in the premier league!
I never thought I'd see it in my wildest dreams.
Red spoils it - but even with Sam we could have also be in black or green with a
ST Davids cross... -
we are still Cardiff City. :ayatollah:

The red seat update had nothing to do with it. Ive been thinking about it for a while, and believe it or not i have better things to do on a saturday now.
And I made a mistake saying I'm not renewing. I definitely do have one for next season.
