Everything else was miserable.
The refereeing, as billythefish alluded to, is unbelievably biased and you will notice a difference as soon as you kick off next season. Not just against the 'big' teams either. Established or fashionable clubs (Swansea/Fulham) will always get the run of the decisions against teams who are seen as cloggers or plucky upstarts (Wolves/Stoke/Wigan/Cardiff).
The 24 hour media bullshit is another thing. If you think that you're getting it in the neck for the re-brand right now just wait until next season. Every cockwomble up and down the country who manages to stay up late enough to see you wrap up the fixtures on MotD will be an expert on Cardiff City. If you're not a team that plays flowing passing football or if you have one or two players who like to put in a hard tackle, be prepared to have stuck up Fulham fans singing "Disgrace to the Premier League" etc, etc.
It will ruin your players as well. I was so proud of the Wolves side that went up. Hennessey, Foley, Stearman, Berra, Ward, Kightly, Henry, Jones, Jarvis, Iwelumo, Ebanks-Blake. A good, hard working, honest group of British and Irish lads who fought for the shirt, the manager and the fans. I imagine you feel something similar about the current Cardiff players. Now, I can't stand any of them (besides Iwelumo who we sold before he could disappoint us). Overpaid, overhyped, arrogant, smug, condescending, talentless ****wits. And that's putting it mildly. All they care about now is money.
TL;DR: The Premier League is evil.
EDIT: Oh, and Alan Shearer! Alan Shearer is a ****ing moron. Don't miss having to listen to his opinion on my club.
