More to an identity of a club than the name. :thumbright:

Colour meant something to you when you chose your name, why not now? :?

How can you tell me it doesn't mean anything now, i don't like the red but i will put up with it for the future of the club, if the name ever changes at that point i will stop going. So the name Cardiff City Fc is not an identity then :o

Name is part of it. Not much to identify the club with otherwise.

The name is a BIG part of it :o

Agreed. Absolutely nothing has been done to stop this megalomaniac stripping your beloved club of it's identity and riding rough shod over it's traditions. Unless you include whining on this message board as doing something. If this had happened at any other club in the land, fake Tan would have been run out of town faster than his feet could carry him. I feel genuinely sorry for the true Cardiff fans who oppose this raping of your club, but you were obviously massively outnumbered by the sycophantic whore's who put premiership football above all else.

That said, Tan had already told you how to get rid of him. Grow a set of balls and start being rude to him!

I'm not laughing though am I? Like I said, I feel genuine sympathy for the real Cardiff city football fans who are sticking by their principles, but are being drowned out by the "premier league at all costs" brigade. The bending over and whoring out of your once proud club is no laughing matter. It's a complete disgrace that wouldn't happen at any other club.

the question is where is it going to stop fellas ? do you all honestly think he's not going further with his mini-malaysia fc dream , you are a laughing stock at the moment not doing one single thing to stop this nutcase doing whatever he wants to your club , he obviously has some big vision for his club and the sooner you lot grow a pair of balls the better

A number of us have said they want the club debt free more than premier football.

Sometimes I wish we were mid table to test these people.

So if you're happy to watch tour team play "in any league", why the complete apathy to the stripping of your traditional colour/badge? If you're happy in the championship why aren't you fighting the re-brand? It doesn't make sense.

Fight the rebrand? yes lets all have a whip round and come up with a £100M and buy Tan out. Stick to planet swamp you little pikey

It's £100 million now yes, but then the riddler first whored you out it was a fraction of that amount. In true Cardiff city fashion you bent over and thought of the money, all waving your little Malaysian flags to greet the man from Kuala Lumpur and his entourage. No good crying about it now on here. Do something about it, or stop whining!

Personally, I don't think the club is an embarrassment. It's not the same club I grew up supporting but it's not embarrassing... yet. The whole red scarf thing was embarrassing though. Vincent Tan must have been pissing himself laughing when he saw all those scarves. He might as well have said "dance my puppets, dance!"

So show the world that you've got a backbone and do something about it. It's not too late as some have suggested. You've still got the name Cardiff city haven't you? If you continue down the road of apathy even that could disappear. Tan has backed down in the past when confronted, so why wouldn't he again? Remember this.....?
