i have defended gestede all season had lots of shit off people on this board for doing so .....cambell was a different player once rudy came on ....i have spoken to rudy privatly on a few occasions telling him to keep his chin up and head down as he was going to be needed towards the end of the season and i told him he would score much needed goals for us ...and last night was one of them ...also when ever i have spoken to him he has thanked me for my support and has genuinly meant it , telling me it means a lot to him ....as much as i rate him i prefer to see him coming on to change things around for us .....if he keeps on improving and working hard i can see him becoming a fans favorite in the future ....thank you rudy for getting us out of the shit last night well done ...and it was a good goal not a one lucky as some have said :ayatollah: :ayatollah: :ayatollah: :ayatollah: :ayatollah: :ayatollah:

To be fair, it doesn't take a rocket scientist to work out that Campbell plays better with a big man up top with him. Gestede or Helguson would have made the difference had they started last night. I'm personally not a big fan of two little players up front or one little man on his own... but it's especially annoying when we don't give those players up top any service.

Gestede is definitely improving, we should give him time, we know that in the premier league, you (usually) get a little bit more time on the ball as they tend to play more zonal marking in that league than ours. So I'd personally like to see how each of our players do once we've been promoted. (Which I think we will still do)

:ayatollah: :ayatollah: I honestly believe he has improved throughout the season if you look at his early season form he could not hold up the ball and his first touch was not good, the last few matches his game has improved 100%, I think the boy took on board his early season weaknesses worked on them and finally we are seeing the end product of that,I would imagine the coaching team also have had huge impact/input on his all round game also. I personally do not think like some people he is all that bad just a raw talent that needed some coaching and help with his game would pick him before the majority of pre madonnas we signed previously cos at least he loves the shirt albeit RED :ayatollah:

He's showing more determination than the rest and was our most dangerous player when he came on.

The team seem to have stopped enjoying their football and look like it's an ordeal.

Rudy's body language is not like that. I see him more as an impact sub but there's a good case for starting him at Wednesday.

And I'm going so come on City. :ayatollah:
