It was obvious, well to me anyway, that Pearson/Leicester had done their homework.

When Nugent had the ball they let him have it and put little pressure on him, his only option was to lump it forward as Leicester went 1:1 with each of the rest of the team. When Hudson/Connolly/Taylor etc had the ball in defence Leicester pressed quickly and the ball soon found its way to our only 'available' defender - Nugent. The cycle continues...

A great prospect, and the only option we've got really right now.

Get behind him.

His passingis no worse than Turner's.

But if you watched him, Marshall and Hudson kept giving him the ball when he had no options to use it.

If we actually had a midfield presence he'd have someone to pass it to but Gunnarson and Whits just weren't intrested in collecting it off him for the most part.

And a lot of the time the fowards were signalling for him to do a 60 yard cross field ball even though they knew most of them weren't reaching them.

The cardinal mistake for a cb is letting the ball bounce. Three times he did that last night and then he had to turn towards goal. Simple he is nowhere near ready. We have to act now and get a loanee in now or revert kev to middle and play lappin

I'm glad someone else watched the same game as me last night. No midfield presence what so ever

Barcelona? We are not Barry Town either.

Dear god he must have gave it away 20 times 1st half. Kicking it out for goal kicks, thrown ins, straight to opponments.

We are not even talking fine margins, a number fo "passes" were nowhere near the intended target.

But hey ho, hes no worse at passing than Turner so that makes it ok. :?

So in summary, last nights poor performance wasn't down to a poor team showing, showing no drive or passion, it wasn't down to a good Leicester team performance, shutting out our midfield so options were restricted for any Cardiff player on the ball. It wasn't a lack of creativity with very few actual targets on goal last night. It was down to Ben nugent and his poor passing which caused a poor performance?

these games are too big for him, i thought thats what we had a development squad for. hes like a rabbit in the headlights everytime the ball comes to him..

he has a lot of work to do, he is young, but i blame malky, not nugent. although his performance last night was just awful and painful to watch...

Well say he did (unlikely), it's a stupid thing to do after a performance like that!

What would he expect after being the worst player on the pitch two games running?
