Since then the issues with standing and heavy handed stewards who are protected by a very good CCTV system had seen the atmosphere dive even further. But to me all this has not been helped by the accustics of the stadium. In the Ninian you have to be half way up to stay dry when it rains. Any noise does not stay in the stadium it just dissapears.

Now to add to that the re brand has affected the atmosphere even more. When the teams come out it has gone down to a warm clapping instead of a roar. The heart and soul has been ripped out and also with the new supporters that we have gained they dont know how we used to be. The new fans are more happy clappy type fans. All the mentioned above has resulted in a total souless bowl of a ground. Its like a morgue.

To put it right we need to sort the roof of the stadium, swap the grange and the Canton, Get back to blue and let the new Grange end not a designated seated area so you can sit where you want. The Club will not do any of this so just enjoy the peace and quiet

Steve, you make some good points but I'm afraid the red/blue issue was blown out of the water versus Brighton. People showed their effective 'support' for the re-brand by wearing the scarves :(

I don't like it (and certainly didn't have or wear a red scarfe) but to say the atmosphere has 'dived' since is IMHO incorrect, as there hasn't been an atmosphere for many games since the CCS opened. Personally, I believe the mood of the crowd is mainly down to the poor distribution of the home fans and the acoustics you mentioned earlier ;)

High expectations haven't helped this year either and the vociferous anti-reds are few and far between in reality ;) :ayatollah:
