Re: The recent off-field antics I feel are to blame

I totally agree with the OP and I said exactly the same thing to people tonight. Our recent run of bad form started after the half time dancing Chinese dragons at home to Bristol City, where we ended up losing the second half 1-0. Then, there was scarfgate at home to Brighton, the sea of red in the stadium and the different surroundings the players had to play in. Psychologically the players must have had this distraction at the backs of their minds, if you say you honestly think this didn't affect the players, I think you're lying. Wolves away us fans showed a great show of togetherness after scarfgate, sticking together and getting behind the team with the majority of us in blue.

Then as soon as we think we are back to winning ways and want to get back to supporting the team, VT drops yet another bombshell, doing his interview, referring to our Bluebird as a failure, referring to us as his customers, not supporters etc. Basically, VT has done everything he can to antagonise us fans and divide us even further. We are not concentrating on supporting the team, we are too worried about what VT will do next. Some of us are angry with what's going on and when we don't start well, we take out our frustration on the team.

Even if the players aren't directly affected with VT's antics, the fans are, and that transpires to the team in my opinion. Even if some of you think VT's antics have had no impact on the players, they certainly haven't helped our team in any way have they? Time for VT to shut up for the rest of the season and allow us to concentrate on supporting the team now, before he risks making things even worse.
