The amount of people leaving on 80 minutes was embarrassing. Don't bother coming.

It's poor, but what I expected, probably about 19 k in ground too, it's pretty much the same crowd as been at CCS since start.

only 12k at watford
only 16k at palace for 2nd v 4th
13k at brum

I go and because we dont put on the usual show people start moaning calling players shit and all sorts .

To be fair it spoilt my knight unless we are winning and scoring the fans aint happy what happend to supporting the team when we are a goal down .

It all seems wrong down the city its full of glory hunting supporters desperate for one thing and unless they get it the aint happy.

OK we weren't at are best we got a point we never lost still top of the league by 5 points and a game in hand what the f**k do people want.

tonights attendance was full of shit.

Agreed, I still applauded the team off the pitch at the end, not the greatest but we got a point :malky: :malky: :malky:

So should I not bother coming then?
For midweek night games, I nearly always have to leave early so I can catch the last train back to Bath.
If you want to offer me a lift back here, then be my guest. But otherwise, I have to leave early. Full stop.

Personally I think its awful as we are top of the league and runaway leaders, it should of been sold out weeks ago.
It was a lot less than that as over 2,500 season ticket holders were missing tonight.

Just asking

Is it the cost?
Was it because Man Utd were on tv(our club had it on, on the concourses while we were playing   ),
Is it the rebrand?
Was it the weather?

Hmm

Didn't finish work till gone 5 30 and have early start in morning so couldn't make it. Same for Leicester next week. Will be at Blackburn game on Easter Monday

But your still awake now?

I apologise for your heroic efforts to get to the game. The majority I was talking about.

A disappointing crowd but (possibly worse) couldn't believe how many (yet again) walked out before the end of the game; many as early as the Derby goal!!

I'm sorry but the worst culprits (but not all) were in the Family Stand yet again!!

Sorry, but you know the score, guys. Few excuses even on a school night because you knew there would be mid-week games when you purchased your highly discounted tickets ;)

If you can't commit to the team then there are plenty on the wwaiting list who will ;) :ayatollah:

First game missed at home this season for me, unfortunately work and family had to come first tonight :(

Is it the cost?
No, even though a round trip just fuel, £50+ inc. bridge toll

Was it because Man Utd were on tv(our club had it on, on the concourses while we were playing   ),
Definitely no, don't watch British games on TV, unless it involves Cardiff City or Wales

Is it the rebrand?
No

Was it the weather?
Weather will never stop me unless it is too dangerous to drive

Midweek games are always a pain, but this season we seem to have had a lot more home ones than in the past, maybe I am wrong.
Should we go up, at least there will be less matches to worry about

But your still awake now?

5 hour round trip is reason. Leave work at 5 30 and go home to get changed means I can't leave till 6 pm which means I can't get in to the CCS till 8 30. Match doesn't finish till 9 40 and with traffic I won't get home till gone midnight.

I was in 2 minds to go last night i was in skewen for a meeting at 5 (white and black balloons everywhere) had to get home to Porth get changed then down the city

Then it takes well over hour and half to get home at night i used to love midweek games but now they are becoming a challenge :D

Could be i also have the initial stages of bubonic manflu

This obsession with the attendance still amazes me. 21K core fans. Not bad when you look at our recent history.

Re: " TONIGHT'S ATTENDANCE " YOUR OPINION?

Wed Mar 06, 2013 1:42 pm

Really can't see what all the fuss is about our attendances. If we sell out good,If we only have 21,554 so be it.People have to beleive that we are not as big as some people think.

Re: " TONIGHT'S ATTENDANCE " YOUR OPINION?

Wed Mar 06, 2013 2:05 pm

It is low and a poor turnout.

Maybe people have chosen to buy the Leicester game instead?
Away following certainly doesn't help.

I honesty think the biggest effect was the Manu real game.

So why didn't those (plenty) turn up last night then? 4/5k unsold tickets ????

Re: " TONIGHT'S ATTENDANCE " YOUR OPINION?

Wed Mar 06, 2013 5:23 pm

Only Leicester had a bigger crowd in the Championship last night, only 1000 or so more than us and they were playing Leeds who would have brought more away. Low crowds and tv football go hand in hand.

The CCS is not a good experience at all. I um'd and ah'd but eventually
I went.
The footabll cardiff play is industrial and predictable.
Piss pooe to watch on times.
Malky stubborness starting to get to me.

Dynamic ticketting has killed the walk up crowd.

And while the all seating, red army have pushed loyal fans away
Our plastics were at home watching Man U. !!!!!

Move the canton FFS
Play some football FFS
Get a plan B FFS
BRING BACK STANDING
Do an offer for walk ups FFS
Lay some free Coaches on for fans

Perhaps we arenot 'as big' as we think??

Think sell out games do carry a fair number of floating fans but on a plus over 21k on a tuesday night shows how we've progressed over the years.

Re: " TONIGHT'S ATTENDANCE " YOUR OPINION?

I don't think It was "Man Utd" people stayed home to watch, but the two biggest clubs in Europe in a winner takes all match. I don't think it means we got thousands of closet man u fans. Night games are more difficult, even for myself and I'm only in Barry. Lots of our fans live up the bumps.
