blackpool even took 42,000 to wembley for that game...anyone can do for a day, even Northampton. I spoke to many vlackpool 'fans' after the game, none has even seem them play before, everton, liverpool, leeds and a geordie i spoke too.

it's a big problem facing British football. Yes we also come under this bracket but he's not talking specifically about us. It's a perfectly valid reason as to why owning the stadium doesn't benefit them. It benefits us as we can use it as an asset to take loans out. They don't take unservicable loans out so don't need the stadium as collateral.

Who has loans secured on their stadium - and what good is the stadium apart form a football ground - the council own it and have a covenant over its use. We only have a long-term lease, and this would be the case with Swansea, the freehold would be kept .

In Swansea's case it would make absolutely no difference as their owner is a Swansea fan and could sell the club for a significant sum with or without the Stadium. Its irrelevant and you might be stupid enough not to see what squidworth is hinting at (as he always has), but I'm not.
