Not quite.

Tans plan is to get to the premier then let the other income streams from the Far East pay for the club.

This is why he is willing to change the debt to equity because he feels the extra income will increase the share price. If his "vision" comes to fruitition there will be no debt or money problems for the club.

Yes but we all know that is the ramblings of a buffoon who has admitted to knowing nothing about football before he got involved with us.

As I've said before, just because he's rich it doesn't mean he's right. That plan was doomed to failure before he even loaned the first £1.

He reckons people are going to ditch man united for Cardiff coz they play in red and are called the dragons?! I mean? Wtf?

You are asking people for a plan b and when presented with one, ignoring it and continuing the line that nobody is offering one.

Stop loaning money we cannot afford to pay back and spend less than our income.

Surely this is a better plan than getting the club into crippling debt while changing it unrecognisably for a pipe dream of all Asians dropping their support for the big guns of man united and Liverpool to support a club they have never heard of before who will probably be in and around the relegation zone.

Which one makes more sense?

Who would you expect VT to "discuss" it with Gwyn , because to date he has shown little if any inclination to hear anyone`s views but his own?. Do you agree? Maybe he "discussed" it with himself in the shaving mirror one morning.

Out of interest what would your personal stance be if you found out in the near future that not only had he been considering the name change for some months , but had actually started the necessary procedures with the FA to implement it?

A Plan B actually becomes more feasible as time progresses. His risk capital is increasing by the month , he has little or any chance of recovering much of it unless he presses on with a promotion to the Premier and , if we get there , there is more chance of finding other investment/borrowings to buy him out (but of course he has now promised not to leave us in the lurch anyway so he would have to break his word and lose a lot of face here and in Malaysia if he reneged on that).

Re: CARDIFF DRAGONS MY ARSE

All I would add is that after 17 years living in Asia there are two clubs supported out here in any numbers and that's Manure and the Scousers; none of the others including Chelski even come close in terms of fan base so whatever color we wear or what we are called will make an iota of difference to our Asia fan base as it won't exist, even Tan knows this

All I wish for is all this shit goes away and we make the Premiership after all the hard work this season

Come on City

we're on the verge of becoming a premier league football club, with guaranteed £Xmillions for the next 4years...im sure there would be a few.....it isnt viable for tan to just walk either, he'd need to sell.

A company losing millions is virtually worthless regardless of guaranteed income, as there's also guaranteed outgoings.

Re: CARDIFF DRAGONS MY ARSE

Brighton game proved very little but what does prove something is the amount of ST renewals from those that were here way before Tan and the rebrand, he's based his decision on that.

The 20 per cent he's refering to are those who have not renewed or vowed never to go down, this number could have been 50% if the antis stuck by their principles. Appreciate it's not what people like to hear but it's the truth.

just the one chat actually gwyn and i understand where he is coming from with the dragon because he see its on our national flag and dosent understand for that reason the opposition to it. The one thing painfully obvoius is that he is oblivious to any history of the club and as you can see by the interview he does not mind upsetting 25% to keep the other 75% on board.
where have i ever mentioned a plan B gwyn i dident think we had any plan at all when we were on the brink of being liquidated in the high court before tans intervention. I dont think your great mate sam had a plan B either.
I appreciate there would be no club with out Tan gwyn and surely now people will realise we were red or dead without his money.
all of the above does not mean that he can trample over the clubs supporters constantly making threats to walk away if he cannot get his own way over everything.
i always thought the malaysian culture was a courteous one but in his case i think not.
