Which part of Evertons kit is a toffee colour? Ever seen a blue lion? Maybe someone should tell Millwall.
The bluebird is on the badge hence why we are called the bluebirds. Stop trying to bring the club down, the nickname stays as long as the bluebird stays.

Evertons nickname has nothing to do with a colour, its to do with the sweet and the famous everton mint.
Millwall are The Lions not The Blue Lions but even if for arguments sake they are unofficially called The Blue Lions that might have something to do with their club colours being BLUE. If you want a comparison to us it would be calling themselves The RED Lions when they play in BLUE.![]()
The nickname BLUEBIRDS was given as a result of us playing in BLUE colours so no its not the same as Everton, or Sunderland, or Millwall.
All irrelevant anyway Cardiff CITY, blue and the Bluebirds will both be confined to the history books after this season.
Great proving you wrong again though.

You do realise a bluebird is a species don't you? It's not just a bird that we have called blue because of our kit? So your "red lions" example is utter tripe once more.
We are called the bluebirds because of our emblem, not our colour. Just as Millwall are the lions due to their emblem and not their colour.

As you were.
PS: Seeign as you brought Everton into it, where is the toffee on their badge? Hmmmmm.

I asked you if you had ever seen a blue lion, not that their nickname was the blue lions. I was showing you that their nickname has nothing to do with the colour of their kit.... Otherwise they wouldn't be called the lions as lions aren't blue. Surely even my 7 year old niece would have understood that?
Anyway, as you can see now as I've had to explain my example to you, we will continue to call the team the blue birds and Millwall will continue to be called the lions as they appear on the emblems, as you pointed out, even if they disappear from the emblems both clubs will still be called the nicknames ala Everton which a toffee isn't represented on their kit what so ever.
So as we can see.... You were wrong and we shall continue to call city, the bluebirds.

Millwalls nickname has nothing to do with colour so that makes your last post redundant.
The same as you couldnt find a toffee on Evertons badge, there are nicknames for many different reasons than badges or colour.
However, our nickname had everything to do with colour. If you want another history lesson please go tbhrough my PA, ive got a busy schedule this afternoon.

Yes I can, we don't play in blue and we are still called the bluebirds. Now how about backing your statements up that we are called the bluebirds because of the blue.
Yes you have said ciao 3 times now and keep coming back.
Probably coz I keep proving you wrong.

Weve not played in blue for 9 months, the bluebird nickname originated some 90 years ago.
Until you can prove that the Bluebird was NOT originated as a result of our colour, as you have stated numerous times on this thread, then you are wrong.
Explain the history and origination of the bluebird.
You cannot.
