It's the under 18s FFS. Probably no player on the pitch will even represent either clubs first team.

You named 5 players over the space of about 8 years from about 120 players that have passed through that age group in that time period. Given the fact about 14 city players were actively involved yesterday would mean the chances of even 1 getting involved in first team action is about 4%.
