When some lads tried to set this up jut after the rebrand, I think dazzy T and subuteoman were involved, there was at least five showed an interest, so they may still be looking to get on board, a few more and at least you'd have enough for a team. :ayatollah:

That petition has over 1000 signatures. I expect all of them to at least show some interest if a new club was formed. Its our only way of fighting back. We can't do it in the ground as we have no voice and blue wearing fans are getting abuse from red wearing fans, we can't protest around the ground now because of legal reasons so this and cleverly worked media campaigns are our only way of retaliation.

I'm not surprised that fans are being abused. Greed and money does that to people and these type of people will piss on anyone to get to the top.

I think what you'll find is red fans are getting abused by blue. I really don't understand this, after days of pure vitriol from the blue side of things calling us every name under the sun the blues now come out and say they are the ones getting the abuse. where?? There's been non of it here, its instead all been one way: the pro-blue anti-red brigade.

The biggest problem I think you will have is getting people to do what they say.

Its all very well liking a facebook group or signing a petition but the proof is in the actions of what people do.

Absolute nonsense. Us blue fans have been angelic in our actions towards the reds. You made your bed but you be the ones to pick up the pieces when your glass house shatters. You expect us fools to be the ones to do it don't you? When the Premier League bubble bursts and you spiral back into the Championship a la Portsmouth all these red army fanatics will be the first to leave.

Then it'll be the fools in love who can't do anything about it like Annis, like Chuckles, like Nukes etc. to pick up the pieces so we can support the club back up to being back on the brink of the good times again only for all them to come back when it suits them.

The red fans abused blues in the stadium, gave them dirty looks and told them to go and support another team. On Twitter red fans calling blue fans fake and saying they could never have loved the club anyway. The truth is they see it that way because their attachment and understanding of a bond with a club isn't as deep. It never will be because they jump on during the good times and leave during the bad. They are fickle by nature. You're in a for a shock if shit gets bad for Cardiff because when they do you'll see attendances plummet and the real scale of what has taken place over these recent years.

Tan has turned fans against one another cleverly using a well known method call divide and conquer. He now has his red army threatening off the blue fans so he faces no abuse himself. A clever man indeed but also very manipulative and playing the system like a boss.

No it won't but if the new club goes ahead then maybe the Welsh league is the best option. Get to the Champions League first and then all the plastics will come to our new club. Then VT will leave when only 3 people left in his stadium (Tan, Gwyn and the groundsman) and we can get Cardiff City back then. You're not thinking of the bigger picture. You need to be a visionary.

lol. How wouldn't it have to go into the welsh League? there's no way the English FA would allow a new WELSH team to access the english pyramid system. I'm sure the same argument has been applied way back when the debt was mounting and if we were liquidated.

Merthyr town reformed in the english pyrymid a couple of years ago.

Your way of base here? Man u wombles are in england so under english fa.
Cardiff in wales under welsh fa sorry new cardifff wont be allowed in english pyrimid,
Europe law wont change that fact. New cardiff will be stuck in welsh pyrimid . End off.

Re: New Club?

Thu Feb 21, 2013 4:34 pm

Merthyr won a court judgement on it and we'd likely do the same.

Re: New Club?

Merthyr Town were allowed in as a phoenix club when Merthyr Tydfil went kaput.

As it stands, Cardiff City FC isn't going kaput. Thus any start-up club would have to go in the Welsh pyramid.

How much detail do you want for something that's free! Honestly I think people are just paranoid that more change is coming. I think Tan wouldn't dare do anything to the name, then there would be uproar.

Are these the same people that despite being so vehemently against the rebrand havn't managed to organise any sort of proper response/demonstration in the last 6 months.

I have a feeling this probably won't happen ;)

Merthyr was already in english system so club actually still registered. And wasnt a seperate club! If form new cardiff it can only be registered under welsh fa. As it will be new club seperate from city !Its that simple
Why do you think rangers couldnt come to england?
